“I haven’t been in a relationship in quite some time,” Arielle responded.

Of the breakup, the actress says, “For me, definitely, it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But it was, now I’m in a place of really leaning into my own life choices. I feel like probably for the first time in my life. In this raw way.”

The show ran for 8 seasons on The CW and Arielle, 40, and Zach, 40, portrayed Lexi Branson and Matt Donovan, respectively.

Zach Roerig gives Arielle Kebbel a helping hand with some fly fishing in this cute pic from their new movie, Love In The Great Smoky Mountains: A National Park Romance.

The 38-year-old actor, best known for his role on The Vampire Diaries, teams up with Arielle in the latest National Park Romance movie, premiering tonight, Saturday, September 2 at 8 p.m. on Hallmark Channel.

The flick reunites two former sweethearts at an archeological dig in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where they have to work together, all while competing for the same research grant, they discover they might still have feelings for one another.

Love In The Great Smoky Mountains: A National Park Romance was filmed in several places throughout the Smoky Mountains, including Fall Creek Falls State Park, Abrams Falls in Cades Cove, Smoky Mountains hiking trail Cherokee Caverns, and also at a curvy stretch of Highway 129 known as “The Dragon”, according to Knox News.

This will mark Zach‘s first ever Hallmark Channel movie, and Arielle‘s fourth. Her debut on the network happened in 2012!

Zach Roerig, best known for playing Matt Donovan on the hit The CW series The Vampire Diaries, was arrested for DUI this past weekend.

The 35-year-old actor was in Ohio for Memorial Day Weekend and he was pulled over by cops at around 2:30am on Sunday (May 24) when the police saw his car had no front plates.

TMZ reports that “cops noticed Zach‘s slurred speech and bloodshot eyes and say he reeked of booze.” The outlet says that when cops conducted field sobriety tests, the actor told them, “This is very hard, I can’t do this when I’m f–king…”

Zach‘s voice then trailed off and the cop asked what he meant and he reportedly said, “When I can’t have a beer.”

After being taken to jail for misdemeanor DUI, sources say that Zach peed in his holding cell. He was eventually released on his own recognizance and he will be arraigned on June 4.

Zach most recently starred in a new USA Network series that was just canceled.
