Lauryn Hill Leads Star-Studded Tribute to D'Angelo & Roberta Flack at Grammys 2026

Lauryn Hill is returning to the Grammys stage for the first time in 27 years!

The 50-year-old entertainer performed in Carolina Herrera during the In Memoriam segment at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 1) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Lauryn lead a star-studded tribute to D’Angelo and Roberta Flack and was joined on stage by special guests including Lucky Daye, Leon Thomas, Raphael Saadiq, Bilal, Jon Batiste, October London, Lalah Hathaway, Wyclef Jean, Chaka Khan, and John Legend.

Cate Blanchett, Scarlett Johansson & Hundreds More Sign Anti-AI Campaign

Many celebrities have signed a new campaign opposing the use of AI.

Cate Blanchett and Scarlett Johansson, who has been against AI for years, are among the 800 creatives that have lent their names to a campaign against the use of AI without permission.

The initiative was launched by Human Artistry Campaign, which is a coalition of creators, union and industry groups who are advocating for their rights, according to The Wrap.

A star-studded crowd kicked off the official Golden Week by celebrating Golden Globes nominees at The Hollywood Reporter and Spotify’s Nominees Night.

Nina Dobrev, SinnersMiles Caton, and couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen were among the stars who stepped out on Thursday night (January 8) at The Lot at Formosa in West Hollywood, Calif.

John, Miles, Chaka Khan, and Mark Ronson all performed at the event, with Miles singing his Golden Globe-nominated song “I Lied to You” from Sinners.

More celebs in attendance at the event included Amy Poehler, Keegan-Michael Key, Timothy Simons, Kumail Nanjiani, Natasha Lyonne, Quinta Brunson, Jackie Tohn, Rita Wilson, Jameela Jamil, and more.

Guests enjoyed curated cocktails and bites from legendary LA go-to, Pink’s Hot Dogs and Trejo’s Taco’s before closing off the evening with Mark‘s headlining DJ set.

The stars of Heated Rivalry were spotted hanging out together and Marty Supreme‘s Odessa A’zion was spotted getting support from her rumored beau.

If you were unaware, the 70-year-old “Through the Fire” music icon took issue with the way that she was sampled on Kanye‘s 2004 song “Through the Wire.” He spud up her vocals in a way that she was less than fond of.

However, during a recent interview, Chaka explained how she feels about the sample now and who she blames for her initial response.
