The 2026 BAFTA Film Awards are happening now!

The 79th British Academy Film Awards take place Sunday (February 22), celebrating the best national and foreign films of 2025, at the Royal Festival Hall in Southbank Centre in London, England.

The awards ceremony honors the best feature-length films and documentaries of any nationality that were screened at British cinemas in 2025, and are being hosted by Alan Cumming for the first time.

E! will air the ceremony for the first time as a pre-recorded special, starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The stars were out to celebrate at the Charles Finch & Chanel Pre-BAFTA Party!

Kirsten Dunst, Laura Harrier and Gwendoline Christie were among the many stars in attendance at the event on Saturday (February 21) at 5 Hertford Street Club in London.

There were also many stars at the party who attended the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards Nominees’ Party that same night.

The two parties were held the night before the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards, which will take place on Sunday (February 22), with Alan Cumming serving as host. Check out the full list of nominations here!

Mariah Carey is MusiCares’ 2026 Person of the Year!

The legendary songstress was the center of attention at the annual gala held ahead of the 2026 Grammy Awards on Friday night (January 30) at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The goal of the event is to honor Mariah for her “extraordinary creative achievements and dedication to philanthropic causes, while raising vital funds to support the health and well-being of the music community,” per the official website.

Pharrell Williams‘ latest presentation of a Louis Vuitton collection had a star-studded audience!

SZA, Callum Turner, Chris Brown, and Usher were among the celebs who attended Louis Vuitton‘s Men’s Fall-Winter 2026 fashion show on Tuesday (January 20) at the Jardin d’Acclimatation in Paris, France.

More celebs in attendance included Joe Keery, John Legend, Stephen Graham, Tahar Rahim, Miles Caton, Tyriq Withers, Daniel Bruhl, Finn Bennett, Quavo, A$AP Nast, Skepta, Future, Jackson Wang, and Gong Yoo.

Pharrell‘s wife Helen Lasichanh posed for photos with their four children.

During the show, Pharrell debuted four unreleased tracks, including new recordings by A$AP Rocky, John Legend, Jackson Wang (feat. Pusha T) and Quavo.

“The show featured live performances by Voices of Fire and l’Orchestre du Pont Neuf, led by Thomas Roussel. The show also featured appearances by Pusha T and BamBam on the runway, underscoring the House’s close creative ties to music,” a rep noted.

The 2026 BAFTA Rising Star Award nominations are in!

If you don’t know, the Rising Star award is the only award in the entirety of the 2026 BAFTAs that is fan-voted by the UK.

Previous winners have included Tom Hardy, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright and Tom Holland.

Voting is now open at ee.co.uk/BAFTA. The winner of the BAFTA Rising Star 2026 award will be announced at the awards ceremony on February 22. Just Jared will be live posting throughout the awards show ceremony on that date, so stick with us.

Leonardo DiCaprio takes the stage to accept an award at the National Board of Review Annual Awards Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street on Tuesday (January 13) in New York City.

The 51-year-old actor was awarded Best Actor for his role in One Battle After Another, and during his speech, thanked his mom and shared how he’s waited over two decades for a movie like that.

Sinners is a winner!

The Ryan Coogler-directed movie won the award for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement at the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday (January 11) at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Cast members on hand to celebrate the win included Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steineld, Miles Caton, Wunmi Mosaku, Li Jun Li, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller, and Delroy Lindo.

In his acceptance speech, Ryan thanked audience members for showing up and seeing the movie in theaters.
