Current franchise stars Hugh Dancy and Mariska Hargitay were seen posing with past stars Sam Waterston and S Epatha Merkerson while stepping out for the big party, where they were joined by many others on Tuesday evening (January 6) in New York City.
NBC‘s procedural drama first premiered in 1990, and aired 20 consecutive seasons through 2010, before going off air for over a decade, returning in 2022 through the present.

NBC has revealed the upcoming slate for the start of 2026!
The network announced the full primetime schedule for the 2025-2026 midseason, which includes new and returning shows.
Fan-favorites like the One Chicago and the Law & Order franchises will return, along with comedies like Happy’s Place and St Denis Medical.
New shows and programming slated to premiere in early 2026 include The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins and the 2026 Winter Olympics coverage.
In Reggie Dinkins, disgraced former football star Reggie Dinkins (Tracy Morgan) is on a mission to rehabilitate his image with the help of award-winning filmmaker Arthur Tobin (Daniel Radcliffe). In order to earn back the admiration of his fans and the respect of his family, Reggie will also have to confront the ghosts of his past.
There’s also the Season 29 premiere of The Voice with a whole new premise!

Law & Order is returning very soon with Season 25!
The long-running NBC show originally ended back in 2010 after 20 seasons, but the network decided to reboot the show years later.
The series examines “the police who investigate crime and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders,” per NBC.
The new 25th season starts Thursday, September 25 at 8 p.m. on NBC and next day on Peacock.
There are several stars returning, one exiting, and one joining the cast.
