Busy has been cast as Natalia, “the beautiful and delightfully blunt first wife of an AI Billionaire, who divorced her when she turned forty. Now Natalia wants revenge and agrees to finance Michael and Olivia’s start-up law firm in order to go after his and other AI businesses.”

The upcoming new series is described as “a David vs. Goliath legal drama set in the heart of Silicon Valley that follows a lawyer (Mike Colter) who is being cheated out of his stock-options by his former employer, a tech start-up. Refusing to back down, he joins forces with another recently fired attorney (Rachel Keller) to represent those taken advantage of by the tech elite, and help them fight back in a high-stakes battle against the Goliaths controlling Silicon Valley.”

Renée‘s casting was announced a month ago, and also marks another couple of reunions for her.

Also cast in the series are Ella Stiller and Nik Dodani.

Each and every TV season, fans anxiously await announcements about their favorite programs, hoping for renewal news.

However, as is the case every year, there will always be some shows that are canceled due to budget constraints, ratings issues, and other factors.

2026 has unfortunately kicked off with several big TV show cancellations, and we’re recapping them all here.

The new FBI spinoff TV series, CIA, is debuting tonight on CBS and we have all of the info

Here’s the synopsis of the drama: When by-the-book FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman is loaned out to a clandestine CIA/FBI task force, he finds himself teamed up with secretive and roguish CIA case officer Colin Glass. Together they will work covert operations in New York, uncovering international plots, terrorist cells and geopolitical secrets. On CIA, Bill will learn the rules of this murky world on the fly as Colin leads him deeper into spy games where only one thing is clear – their work keeps America safe, even if no one will ever know what they did in the shadows.

Two of the cast members are from One Chicago universe shows, which are also executive produced by Dick Wolf. Dick executive produces all the FBI shows as well. There has already been casting shakeups for this series as well.

The cast of The Neighborhood is celebrating wrapping filming on the series!

The CBS sitcom is currently airing its eighth and final season, with the series finale finishing taping earlier this week. Cedric the Entertainer, Max Greenfield, Tichina Arnold, Beth Behrs, and the other cast members went to the finale party at Radford Studio Center on Monday (February 19) in Studio City, Calif.

Other guests in attendance included series regulars Sheaun McKinney, Marcel Spears, Hank Greenspan, and Skye Townsend. Recurring and special guest stars like Anthony Anderson, David Alan Grier, Amber Stevens West, and Garrett Morris were also in attendance!

The eighth season is currently airing, with new episodes returning on Monday, February 23 after the winter hiatus.

Stephen Colbert has issued a massive reaction to everything that went down between him and CBS over James Talarico‘s interview on The Late Show.

Colbert claimed that CBS wouldn’t let him interview Talarico on the air due to FCC rules. He ended up interviewing him and putting it on YouTube instead.

CBS then released a statement saying they did not prohibit him from interviewing Talarico on the air.

All of this went down ahead of Colbert‘s Tuesday (February 17) show, and he sat down and explained everything to his audience.

“Here’s what happened, folks. Last night I talked to Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, but, it wasn’t on the show. We put the interview on our YouTube channel because of something called the equal time rule, and that rule says that if a show, on broadcast television has a qualified candidate on during an election, they have to offer equal time to all that candidate’s opponents. It’s a pretty famous rule, but here’s the thing, there has long been a very famous exception to that rule, and that exception included talk shows’ interviews with politicians.”

He continued, “We looked, and we can’t find one example of this rule being enforced for any talk show interview, not only for my entire late night career, but for anyone’s late night career going back to the 1960s. But on January 21st, we heard from FCC Chairman Brendan Carr… he issued a letter saying he was thinking about getting rid of that talk show exception. He had not gotten rid of it yet, but CBS generously did it for him and…told me unilaterally that I had to abide by the equal time rules, something I have never been asked to do for an interview in the 21 years of this job. Now that decision, I’ll be clear, is their right, just like I have the right to talk about their decision on air.”

“Last night I did, and people who interview politicians for a living notice. Anyway, I said my peace last night, we made some jokes that they pay me for, and I was ready to let the whole thing go until a few hours ago when my group chat blowed up because, without ever talking to me, the corporation put out this press release, this statement.”

“Now this is a surprisingly small piece of paper considering how many butts it’s trying to cover.”

“In [the statement] they say the Late Show was not prohibited by CBS from broadcasting the interview with Representative James Talarico. The show was providing legal guidance that the broadcast could trigger the FCC equal time rule for two other candidates, including Representative Jasmine Crockett, and presented options for how equal time for other candidates could be fulfilled. The Late Show decided to present the interview through its YouTube channel with on-air promotion on the broadcast rather than potentially providing the equal time options.”

“Now clearly this statement was written by, and I’m guessing, and for lawyers. Now I’m not a lawyer and I don’t want to tell them how to do their jobs, but since they seem intent on telling me how to do mine, here we go. I am well aware that we can book other guests. I didn’t need to be presented with that option. I’ve had Jasmine Crockett on my show twice. I can prove that to you. But the network won’t let me show you her picture without including her opponents. So I’ll have to show you this picture of Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein instead… They made me do it! I didn’t want to!”

“So we obeyed our network and put the interview on YouTube where it’s gotten millions of views. And I can see why. Talarico’s an interesting guy. I don’t know what if he should be the senator, but it was a good discussion. I wish we could have put it on the show where no one would have watched it… but here’s what I do want to tell the lawyers how to do their jobs. They know damn well that every word of my script last night was approved by CBS’s lawyers, who for the record approve every script that goes on the air… whether it’s about equal time or this image of frogs having sex.”

He then added, “In fact, between the monologue I did last night, and before I did the second act talking about this issue, I had to go backstage. I got called backstage to get more notes from these lawyers. Something that had never, ever happened before, and they told us the language they wanted me to use to describe that equal time exception, and I used that language,” he continued. “So I don’t know what this is about.”

He added, “For the record, I’m not even mad. I really don’t want an adversarial relationship with the network. I’ve never had one. As I said last night in my interview with James Talarico — check it out, it’s on YouTube, it’s pretty good — I am grateful to have worked for CBS for the last 11 years….I’m just so surprised that this giant global corporation would not stand up to these bullies.”

He continued, “And for the lawyers to release this [statement] without even talking to me is really surprising. I don’t even know what to do with this crap.”

He then used a dog poop bag to pick up CBS’ statement.

Shemar Moore and Vivica A. Fox are returning to the long-running CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless.

The network is keeping most of the details secret, but they will reprise their characters Malcolm Winters and Dr. Stephanie Simmons, respectively, for a multi-episode arc, per TVLine.

CBS teases that their “surprising return has shocking and lasting implications for the residents of Genoa City.”

They are set to begin filming their episodes on Tuesday (February 17).

The last time the Criminal Minds vet was on the show was in 2023, when he returned to celebrate the 50th anniversary. Originally, he portrayed Malcolm from 1994 to 2005, with additional appearances in 2014 and 2019.

Vivica played Dr. Stephanie for a year that ended in 1995 and hasn’t been back since.

There has been a lot of talk about the Monday night (February 16) episode of The Late Show after Stephen Colbert‘s claims about his Rep. James Talarico interview, saying, “We were told in no uncertain terms by our network’s lawyers, who called us directly, that we could not have him on the broadcast.”

This apparently related to the FCC equal time provision: “if a broadcast station permits any legally qualified candidate for public office to use its facilities, it shall provide an equal opportunity to all other legally qualified candidates for that office.”

Stephen also claimed: “Then I was told in some uncertain terms that not only could I not have him on, I could not mention me not having him on, and because my network clearly doesn’t want us to talk about this, let’s talk about this.”

CBS is now responding in a statement provided to Just Jared.

Anderson Cooper has confirmed the reason why he’s stepping away from 60 Minutes.

If you didn’t see, the 58-year-old journalist and broadcaster was confirmed to be exiting the CBS news program.

Anderson told the AP, “Being a correspondent at ‘60 Minutes’ has been one of the great honors of my career. I got to tell amazing stories, and work with some of the best producers, editors and camera crew in the business. For nearly 20 years, I’ve been able to balance my jobs and CNN and CBS, but I have little kids now and I want to spend as much time with them as possible, while they still want to spend time with me.”

He had a piece air this past Sunday on filmmaker Ken Burns, but the news agency reports that it’s “not likely to be his last time on the show” and that he’s “expected to finish” the current season, which ends in May.

There have been issues at 60 Minutes over the last few months, including, famously, the “Inside CECOT” segment that one journalist said was pulled for political reasons.

Stephen Colbert was set to host Texas state Rep. James Talarico, who is running for U.S. Senate, on The Late Show on Monday night (February 16), however, he was blocked from doing so.

He explained what happened to his audience.

“You know who is not one of my guests tonight: That’s Texas State Representative James Talarico. He was supposed to be here, but we were told in no uncertain terms by our network’s lawyers, who called us directly, that we could not have him on the broadcast,” he said to his audience about the Democratic candidate for the Senate.

He then let CBS know how he felt about that: “Then I was told in some uncertain terms that not only could I not have him on, I could not mention me not having him on, and because my network clearly doesn’t want us to talk about this, let’s talk about this.”

Stephen then told his audience about the FCC equal time provision.

“Under section 315, if a broadcast station permits any legally qualified candidate for public office to use its facilities, it shall provide an equal opportunity to all other legally qualified candidates for that office,” the FCC published.

“In his letter, [FCC chair Brendan Carr] said he was thinking about dropping the exception for talk shows because he said some of them were motivated by partisan purposes. Well, sir, you’re chairman of the FCC, so FCC U because I think you are motivated by partisan purposes yourself, sir. Smelt it because you dealt it. You are Dutch ovening America’s airwaves. Let’s just call this what it is. Donald Trump’s administration wants to silence anyone who says anything bad about Trump on TV, because all Trump does is watch TV,” Colbert added.

Colbert ended up interviewing Talarico anyway, publishing it to his YouTube.

When asked about being blocked from airtime, Talarico said, “I think that Donald Trump is worried that we’re about to flip Texas.”

“This is the party that ran against cancel culture, and now they’re trying to control what we watch, what we say, what we read, and this is the most dangerous kind of cancel culture, the kind that comes from the top,” he continued. “They went after The View because I went on there. They went after Jimmy Kimmel for telling a joke they didn’t like. They went after you for telling the truth about Paramount’s bribe to Donald Trump.”

FBI is one of the biggest CBS shows.

The show is currently on Season 8, and was created by Dick Wolf and Craig Turk.

The series centers around the Special Agents of the New York City field office’s criminal division as they take on some of the biggest cases in the city.

Fans want to know whether the series is continuing on for another season beyond Season 8.

After almost 20 years with the news program, Anderson Cooper is reportedly set to exit 60 Minutes as a correspondent.

Variety is reporting that a “person familiar with his thinking” confirmed the news to them about the 58-year-old broadcaster. He first started on the news program in 2007.

CBS News confirmed to Just Jared, “For more than two decades, Anderson Cooper has taken 60 Minutes viewers on journeys to faraway places, told us unforgettable stories, reported consequential investigations and interviewed many prominent figures. We’re grateful to him for dedicating so much of his life to this broadcast, and understand the importance of spending more time with family. 60 Minutes will be here if he ever wants to return.”

FBI and new series CIA are going to crossover this month!

The CBS dramas will see actors from both shows on each other’s television program in a two-way crossover in upcoming episodes, Deadline has revealed.

FBI‘s Jeremy Sisto will make an appearance on the series premiere of CIA on Monday, February 23rd.

In addition, later in the season, FBI‘s Alana De La Garza and Missy Peregrym are set to also appear on CIA, while Necar Zadegan, who will play Deputy Chief of Station Nikki Reynard on CIA, will be making an appearance on FBI.

“Fans get to see their favorite characters flex their muscles in cases and in situations that can differ from their work in their ordinary worlds,” showrunner of both, Mike Weiss, told Deadline of the crossovers. “And we get to expand the universe of BOTH shows – the CIA and FBI might be racing to keep people safe from various threats, but in crossing characters over, we get to show that both agencies are hard at work in the same city, on the same timeline, in the same shared reality. That’s fun! Isn’t it?”

“It’s good, clean fun. And in reality, there are tons of inter-agency crossover and collaboration, so it makes perfect sense to me that our heroes would bump into each other frequently,” he added. “I think that after two minutes with our CIA stars, the audience will be all in, even without an endorsement from their trusted FBI favorites.”

The pilot is about vampires and is titled Eternally Yours. It comes from the developers, executive producers, and showrunners of Ghosts, Joe Port and Joe Wiseman and CBS Studios, reports Deadline.

There are some big changes going on behind the scenes of NCIS: Origins.

Days after it was announced that the NCIS spinoff series had been renewed for a third season, it was announced on Wednesday (January 28) that co-showrunner Gina Lucita Monreal will be leaving at the end of the current season.

She then returned to CBS to work on NCIS: Origins, which premiered in October 2024.

Grammys executive producer Ben Winston confirmed that the “Cruel Summer” singer won’t be there despite a rumor published by HITS saying otherwise.

Ironically, Winston spoke with HITS to clear up the rumor they started, saying, “The only reason people think Taylor might be performing or coming is because HITS decided to print it this week and put it in their HITS List, and it was picked up globally. But HITS just totally made that up. And now I am getting asked about it by you, as if it’s a real thing, when it was made up in your office! That really is a full-circle rumor!”

Taylor also didn’t release any music within this year’s eligibility period, with her latest album The Life of the Showgirl releasing over a month after the August 30, 2025 cutoff date.

However, Sabrina Carpenter has been confirmed to perform and Winston says they plan to announce additional performers in the days leading up to the big event “like a Christmas advent calendar.”

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will be ending at CBS this year, and now, the final show date has been revealed.

According to Deadline, Stephen Colbert will take his final bow as the show’s late night host on Thursday, May 21. No word yet on guests who will be on hand for the show’s big finale.

If you don’t know what went down last summer, here’s some backstory: in July 2025, Trump sued CBS’ parent company and claimed that 60 Minutes had edited an interview with Kamala Harris in a misleading way. Paramount settled the case for a reported $16 million. Just days later, Stephen Colbert mocked the payout on his late night talk show and called it “a big fat bribe.” Within days of his statement, CBS announced the show’s cancellation. Many were wondering if there was in any way a link between these events.

Stephen actually responded to those theories in an interview months later.
