The Marshals and 1923 stars hit the carpet at the event, which also celebrated the first of UFC‘s matches streaming on Paramount+ at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday (January 24) in Las Vegas.

UFC’s debut on the streamer drew in 4.96 million live average minute audience/streaming views for the main card, with a peak concurrent stream of 5.93 million.

On Friday (July 25), the 47-year-old DJ announced that he and wife Sasha welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.

The couple shared the exciting news in a joint Instagram post, revealing that their baby was born on their first wedding anniversary!

Steve Aoki is going to be a dad!

During his Saturday night (January 25) concert at Barasti Beach in Dubai, the 47-year-old DJ announced that he and his wife Sasha are expecting their first child together.

“This is my wife, and we’re having a baby,” Steve said as Sasha came out on stage, as seen in a video shared on his Instagram.

Keep reading to find out more…“We’re going to find out if it’s a boy or if it’s a girl,” Steve added as the stage crew brought out a white sheet cake with “Aoki” spelled out in alternating blue and pink lettering.

Sasha then started to smash the cake into Steve‘s face as blue confetti and smoke filled the air, signaling that they’re having a baby boy.

“It’s A Boy!!” flashed on the screen as the crowd erupted in cheers.

“It’s a boy!” Steve exclaimed as he had blue cake icing all over his face. “We have a little boy.”

Several famous musicians have been accused of misusing Covid relief funds.

According to reporting by Business Insider, a group of prominent artists took large sums of money from a pandemic relief fund called the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant that was supposed to help the arts industry.

Managed by the Small Business Administration, it was meant to keep “struggling independent venues and arts groups” afloat. Reporting suggests that the likes of Chris Brown, Marshmello, Lil Wayne and more took advantage of the grant, which offered a maximum of $10 million.

The Shuttered Venue Operators Grant provided assistance to more than 13,000 members who qualified. The Small Business Administration reportedly utilized “industry-leading fraud controls” to make sure that the funds were appropriately handed out.

The outlet noted that the grants were supposed to be used to cover “ordinary and necessary” payments. Grantees were only supposed to qualify if they were able to prove a 25% reduction in their revenue between the same time period in 2019 and 2020.

However, the grant reportedly only focused on those losses and did not consider other assets that artists might own.

The use of the grants has also been called into question.

Lil Wayne reportedly allocated $1.38 million to travel in private jets. He used another $2.14 million to pay off a debt to a former manager.

Chris reportedly received the full $10 million grant. The outlet alleged that he personally pocketed $5.1 million of it and spent nearly $80,000 additionally on an extravagant birthday party.

Marshmello, a DJ, paid himself the full $9.9 million that he received, making him the artist who personally benefited the most from the grant. He was able to justify the receipt since he made that amount the prior year.

Other artists mentioned in the report include Steve Aoki, who allegedly paid himself $1.9 million of a $2.4 million grant that he received, Shinedown, Rae Sremmurd and members of Alice in Chains.

Business Insider consulted with a government-accountability expert, who hypothesized that the spending was “questionable” if not “fraudulent.”

Artists associated with the business management firm NKSFB reportedly received $207 million in support.

A lawyer for the group called Business Insider’s reporting into question in a statement shared with the outlet.

“NKSFB, one of the most respected business management firms in the world, does not comment on its clients’ financial information,” lawyer Bryan Freedman said. “Based on the uninformed questions that BI has asked, it is clear it has little to no understanding on this subject.”

In a statement shared with the outlet, the Small Business Administration noted that “some” of the grants awarded to artists “remain open due to ongoing third-party audits that the Agency is resolving.”

“Where credible evidence suggests funds were misspent or a grantee misrepresented their expenditures to SBA, the agency’s robust fraud and waste oversight structure reviewed such allegations,” a spokesperson said. “When substantiated, SBA and its law enforcement partners vigorously prosecute suspected wrongdoing. As a matter of policy, the SBA cannot comment on specific investigations or law enforcement action, whether planned or ongoing.”

Business Insider reached out to multiple artists mentioned in the report for comment. However, most did not return the request.

TikTok star Blake Gray got caked by Steve Aoki!

The popular DJ hosted a workout session with smartwater alkaline on Wednesday night (April 19) at Equinox Sports Club in Los Angeles.

Steve spun tracks while influencers and tastemakers like Blake, Teala Dunn, Mitchell Eason, Damian Powers, and more participated in a 45-minute HIIT workout. The event was held to celebrate smartwater’s newest alkaline with antioxidant 9.5pH+ bottle.

At the end of the night, Steve did one of his infamous cake tosses and Blake was the target.

Several major stars are heading to the moon!

Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa has picked his crew members for SpaceX‘s first all-civilian mission to the Moon.

He chose eight crew members and two backups from various backgrounds around the globe to be part of the mission called “dearMoon” – and they include a boy band member, a YouTuber and a famous DJ.

“The first civilian mission to the Moon is planned to take place in 2023. The rocket developed by Elon Musk‘s SpaceX will make a week-long journey to the Moon and back,” the moon mission’s official website states.

The billionaire said the project received about a million applications from interested parties.

“In 2018, Japanese entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa purchased all the seats aboard this rocket. Wishing to give as many talented individuals as possible the opportunity to go, he announced in March 2021 his plans to choose 8 crew members from across the world.”

John Cho is stepping out for the premiere of his new Netflix series!

The 49-year-old actor joined co-stars Mustafa Shakir and Daniella Pineda at the premiere of Cowboy Bebop on Thursday evening (November 11) at Goya Studios in Los Angeles.

Other stars in attendance included fellow cast members Elena Satine and Alex Hassell along with the show’s creator André Nemec, the show’s composer Yoko Kanno, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, and DJ Steve Aoki.

Cowboy Bebop is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka “cowboys,” all trying to outrun the past. The DJ-producer and the long-running boy band debuted their collaboration on Friday (September 6).

The collaboration came about after Steve invited Nick Carter to his show at Hakkasan, who performed “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” on stage. Two years later, the two acts came together for a collab!

“Being able to work with these guys was so organic and effortless. Collaborating with a group that I’ve been listening to since I was a kid was such a memorable moment for me. This song has a beautiful message and relates to a lot of different people overcoming challenges when you love someone, and love always wins in the end. I’m really proud of this one and know it will touch a lot of people,” said Steve.

“Our collaboration with Steve came about in a very organic way. We had the opportunity to spend some time with Steve at his house really getting to know each other, and the song developed naturally from there. The message behind it is one we think everyone can relate to. It’s about working through any challenges that life brings to be with the person you love. And the importance of that message is something we really tried to show with the music video by having real couples tell their stories,” said the boys.

The 34-year-old singer accepted the Shero Award after performing a medley of her songs.

The DJ-producer and the global K-pop superstars dropped the visual for their collaboration on Wednesday (March 27).

The video for the song, which is available in both Korean and English, features Steve driving a Tesla down a highway singing the song, while Monsta X hangs in a hotel room that turns into a party – plus plenty of choreography!

Steve composed, arranged and produced the song, resulting in his fourth K-pop collaboration to date.

Steve Aoki and Monsta X are teaming up for the English version of their collaboration, “Play It Cool”!

After dropping the Korean version in February, the superstar DJ-producer and the massively popular Korean boy band teamed up to release the new track on Friday (March 22).

“Monsta X is one of those powerhouse groups that sets the bar very high. Their voices stay with you long after the song is over, and on this track they sang so profoundly that all we had to do was focus on the story we were telling. I really believe in today’s world that we have redefined what love and relationships look like, so I think that this song is one that many people can relate to,” said Steve.

“It was such an honor to work with Steve Aoki. He is truly an amazing artist and producer. Calvin Harris and Diplo suit up for the 2019 BRIT Awards!

The 35-year-old Scottish DJ and the 40-year-old American DJ hit the red carpet at the event held at The O2 Arena on Wednesday (February 20) in London, England.

They were joined by Steve Aoki.

Calvin took home the award for British Producer of the Year as well as British Single of the Year for his and Dua Lipa‘s “One Kiss.” He also received a nomination for British Artist Video of the Year for the same song.

Calvin also performed “Giant,” “Promises,” and “One Kiss” with Rag’n'Bone Man, Sam Smith, and Dua.

Steve Aoki has just dropped the official music video for his hit collaboration with BTS called “Waste It On Me,” and you can watch it right here!

The clip, directed by Linkin Park‘s Joe Hahn, features an all Asian-American cast, including Ken Jeong, Ross Butler, Devon Aoki, Jamie Chung, Ben Baller, JustJared.com‘s very own Jared Eng, Leonardo Nam, Vincent Rodriguez, Jimmy Yang, Jessica Lu, Tiffany Ma and more.
