The stars of Yellowjackets are hitting the red carpet!
Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, and Elijah Wood joined tons of their co-stars at the season 3 premiere of their hit showtime series on Thursday night (February 13) held at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles.
Here’s the official logline: “In season three, as summer arrives, the Yellowjackets face a fragile victory — the brutal winter that nearly claimed them is finally behind them, but distrust in leadership and tension within the team jeopardize their chances of being rescued. In the present, long-buried secrets from their pasts begin to surface. As the women fight to keep their lives from unraveling, they must confront a chilling question: who are they really, and what dark truths are they hiding from each other and themselves?”
Season 3 begins streaming with two episodes on Valentine’s Day (February 14) and on demand for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with Showtime plan before its linear premiere on February 16 at 8 p.m. ET. Watch the trailer here!

Yellowjackets Season 3 is coming soon!
The official trailer is here for the third season of the TV show, which follows survivors of a plane crash that left them stranded in the remote wilderness for 19 months when they were teenagers, leading them to resort to cannibalism in order to survive.
The dual-timeline show stars Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Lauren Ambrose and Simone Kessell, and younger counterparts Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Kevin Alves, and Steven Krueger.
Warren Kole, Sarah Desjardins, Elijah Wood and newcomers Hilary Swank and Joel McHale also fill out the present-day cast.

Showtime TV series Yellowjackets season three finally has a premiere date and first footage from the new episodes!
A short date announcement teaser was just released, confirming the new season will debut on February 14, 2025. The creepy promo also includes the words “Eat their heart out,” with some sneak peeks at some footage.

Tawny Cypress, Christina Ricci and Juliette Lewis walked the carpet while arriving at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday (January 15) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
The Yellowjackets stars showed off their glam as they posed for photos before heading inside to join the rest of their co-stars, and their character’s younger counterparts.
Also in attendance were co-stars Lauren Ambrose and Warren Kole.
The Showtime series was nominated in three categories this year – Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Melanie Lynskey and Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series. Unfortunately, they didn’t pick up a win.
Christina‘s other show, Wednesday, was also nominated, in the Outstanding Comedy Series category!

Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, Melanie Lynskey, and Tawny Cypress look amazing at the premiere of their Showtime series, Yellowjackets!
The four stars hit the black carpet in support of the upcoming season two of the show at TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday night (March 22) in Hollywood.
Christina, Melanie, Tawny and Juliette were joined by co-stars Liv Hewson, Sophie Nélisse, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Courtney Eaton, and Warren Kole for the screening.
New series stars Elijah Wood, Lauren Ambrose, Simone Kessell, Nicole Maines, and Nia Sondaya were also spotted at the event.
After viewing the trailer for the upcoming season, there seems to be a third storyline added for the show.
“I can’t really get too much into detail, but I will say the first couple scripts had the entire cast gasping,” Christina recently told Entertainment Tonight. “So it’s even wilder: more crazy, more shocking, and really compelling and fun.”

The trailer for season 2 of Yellowjackets has finally debuted online and it’s teasing three timelines this season!
The first story line is the continuation of the adults and the second version of the story line is the continuation of the teens abandoned at their plane crash site. However, there appears to now be a third timeline being added in the mix this season: one that takes place 19 months after the crash.
