SZA, Dave Franco, Jon Hamm, & More Attend Star-Studded 'Hoppers' World Premiere

SZA led the stars at the Hoppers world premiere!

The Grammy winner wrote and performed original end credit song “Save the Day” for the latest Disney/Pixar film. She took numerous photos with the cast, including Piper Curda, Jon Hamm, Bobby Moynihan, Dave Franco, and more, at the Los Angeles premiere held at El Capitan Theatre on Monday (February 23).

Dave‘s wife and actress Alison Brie came out to support him!

More Hoppers cast members like Eduardo Franco, Aparna Nancherla, Sam Richardson, Melissa Villaseñor, Nichole Sakura, and Vanessa Bayer were also in attendance.

Kathy Najimy, Tom Law, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Steve Purcell, Ego Nwodim, Meryl Streep, and Karen Huie lent their voices to the film but did not appear to be at the premiere.

Jason Ritter and Melanie Lynskey were among the celebrities not in the movie but still there to support the cast.

Hoppers will be released in theaters on March 6. Watch the trailer!

Manuel Garcia-Rulfo & Neve Campbell Attend 'Lincoln Lawyer' Season 4 Premiere with the Show's New Guest Stars!

The stars of Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer are celebrating the launch of season four!

Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Neve Campbell hit the red carpet together for the season premiere party on Wednesday night (January 28) at PMC Rooftop Terrace in Los Angeles.

They were joined by returning stars Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, and Krista Warner, as well as the show’s new guest and recurring actors Constance Zimmer, Sasha Alexander, Jason Butler Harner, Cobie Smulders, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Scott Lawrence, and Gigi Zumbado.

Also stepping out were Becki‘s husband Chris Diamantopoulos, Cobie‘s husband Taran Killam, and Emmanuelle‘s partner Sam Trammell.

In the fourth season, Mickey Haller (Garcia-Rulfo) faces his toughest case yet as he and his team work tirelessly to prove his innocence in the murder of a former client, Sam Scales. To clear his name, they must unravel Sam’s final scam, forcing them to go head-to-head with the DA’s office, the FBI, and ghosts from Mickey’s own past.

Taran Killam Drops Out of 'Urinetown' Musical After Losing Home in Los Angeles Fires

Taran Killam will no longer be appearing the New York City Center’s upcoming Encores! production of Urinetown after he tragically lost his home in the Los Angeles Fires.

The former Saturday Night Live actor was set to lead the production as Officer Lockstock, but the role will now be played by Broadway star Greg Hildreth.

City Center confirmed the casting change in an email sent to ticketholders on Friday (January 17).

Stephanie Styles & Jordan Fisher to Lead NYC's First 'Urinetown' Revival in 21 Years

The beloved musical Urinetown is heading back to New York City for the first time in two decades and the cast was just announced!

A special two-week production at City Center Encores will be led by Stephanie Styles as Hope Cladwell, Jordan Fisher as Bobby Strong, Taran Killam as Officer Lockstock, and Keala Settle as Penelope Pennywise.

In the satire musical, Bobby Strong (Fisher) leads his community in a fight against oppression. Set in a dystopian world where water is scarce and “Hope” is even scarcer, all citizens must now pay a fee for “The Privilege to Pee” at one of the public facilities controlled by a selfish tycoonand monitored by authorities like Officer Lockstock (Killam). But the citizens can only hold it in so much longer, and soon the poorest, filthiest of these facilities, run by the formidable Penelope Pennywise (Settle), becomes a “number one” site for major change.

The original production of Urinetown ran on Broadway from 2001 to 2004 and was nominated for 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. It won three, including Best Original Score and Best Book of a Musical.

New York City Center‘s production will run from February 5 to February 16, 2025. Tickets go on sale to the general public on October 8!

Stephanie, best known for her role on Apple TV+’s Loot, is appearing in another City Center musical next month.

Succession's Juliana Canfield Gets Support from Castmates at Opening Night of Broadway's New Hit Play 'Stereophonic'

The Broadway play Stereophonic is officially open and it’s expected to be the big hit of the season!

Juliana Canfield, best known for her work on HBO’s Succession, is a member of the ensemble cast and she walked the red carpet at the opening night show on Friday (April 19) at the Golden Theatre in New York City.

The cast also includes Tom Pecinka, Sarah Pidgeon, Eli Gelb, Andrew R. Butler, Chris Stack, and Will Brill.

Juliana was supported by her Succession castmates J. Smith-Cameron, Zoe Winters, and David Rasche at the opening night performances.

Some of the other celebs in attendance included Rachel Brosnahan, Sadie Sink, Louisa Jacobson, Taran Killam and Cobie Smulders, Dylan Mulvaney, Common, and Christian Slater, among others. Check out photos in the gallery!

Stereophonic, written by David Adjmi, takes place in a music studio in 1976 as an up-and-coming rock band recording a new album finds itself suddenly on the cusp of superstardom. The ensuing pressures could spark their breakup — or their breakthrough. Arcade Fire‘s Will Butler wrote original songs for the play!
