Demi Lovato Supports BFF Matthew Scott Montgomery at Opening Night of His Play 'Foursome' in L.A.

Demi Lovato is proving to be a supportive friend!

The 33-year-old singer showed up to support her best friend, Matthew Scott Montgomery, at the opening night performance of his new play Foursome on Thursday (February 19) in Los Angeles.

Not only is Matthew starring in the play, he also wrote it!

Foursome‘s world premiere production is is being produced by IAMA Theatre Company and Celebration Theatre in Los Angeles. The production is running in Atwater Village through March 23.

In the new romantic comedy, four friends gather for a weekend getaway, armed with champagne, secrets, and enough emotional baggage to fill the trunk twice over. As pop anthems echo through the cabin, what begins as a warm, wine-drenched reunion becomes a powder keg of desire, miscommunication, history, unexpected revelations, and more. Get tickets now!

Matthew starred in the Disney Channel series So Random, which was a spinoff of Demi‘s show Sonny with a Chance.

The 33-year-old “Fast” superstar shared a message to her Instagram Story on Tuesday (February 10), revealing that she is pushing the It’s Not That Deep Tour back and canceling some dates.

“My Lovatics – I am so excited to get back on stage this year and visit you in as many cities as I can. While starting to prepare for the tour, I realized that I have overextended what may be possible,” she began.

So many of music’s biggest stars stepped out for legendary music producer Clive Davis‘ annual party ahead of the Grammys!

Dove Cameron, Demi Lovato, Lizzo, Sombr, Laufey, and Olivia Dean were just some of the stars who attended the Pre-Grammy Gala & Grammy Salute to Industry Icons on Saturday night (January 31) in Los Angeles.

Republic Records co-founders Monte Lipman and Avery Lipman are being honored at the event.

“Monte and Avery are two of the music industry’s most illustrious leaders, and I am thrilled that they will be this year’s Salute to Industry Icons honorees,” Clive said in a statement. “Their longtime trailblazing commitment to supporting songwriters across the music spectrum as well as their staunch dedication to advocacy, diversity and equality in the music business are exemplary. Artists and the industry at large are fortunate to have Monte and Avery’s insights and passion at the helm.”

Charli xcx Gets Support from Husband George Daniel, Kylie Jenner, & More Stars at 'The Moment' Premiere in L.A.

Charli xcx is getting some star-studded support at the premiere of her new movie!

The 33-year-old Brat superstar was joined by husband George Daniel at the premiere of The Moment on Thursday night (January 29) held at the Fine Arts Theatre in Los Angeles.

Director Aidan Zamirin and writer Bertie Brandes were also at the premiere along with Kylie Jenner, Tish Weinstock, Kate Berlant, A.G. Cook, Trew Mullen, Richard Perez, and Hailey Benton Gates, who all appear in the movie.

Other famous guests in attendance included Chappell Roan, Troye Sivan, Demi Lovato and husband Jordan Lutes, Gabbriette, Dylan Minnette, Eli Roth, Conan Gray, Tove Lo, Scout Willis, and Avan Jogia.

Here’s the cryptic synopsis for The Moment: “A rising pop star navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut.”
