We followed the characters of One Tree Hill from high school to adulthood on the nine-season drama series, and soon, some of them will return to the world of Tree Hill for a sequel series.

Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton will executive produce a spinoff for Netflix and reprise their roles as Brooke Davis and Peyton Sawyer. Their characters will now be parents to teenagers.

Many of the show’s stars are actually parents in real life, too!

Since leaving Tree Hill, the fictional town in North Carolina where the hit series was based, in 2012, many of the stars have since settled down and had kids.

Netflix’s new limited series Wayward has a trailer and new images!

Created by Mae Martin, the new series is “a thrilling and genre-bending limited series about the eternal struggle between one generation and the next, what happens when friendship and loyalty are put to the ultimate test, and how buried truths always find a way of coming to the surface,” Netflix reports.

Toni Collette and Mae Martin are starring in the teaser trailer for the upcoming new limited series Wayward!

The Netflix show was created by Mae, who also executive produces, wrote the first and last episode and serves as co-showrunner.

In the series, “nothing is what it seems in Tall Pines. After an escape attempt from an academy for ‘troubled teens,’ two students join forces with a newly local police officer, unearthing the town’s dark and deeply rooted secrets.”

Travis Barker steps out solo for opening night of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday night (September 9) in Universal City, Calif.

The blink-192 drummer was joined by Jessie J, Stillwater‘s Abigail Breslin, Slash and Meegan Hodges on the red carpet.

Also spotted enjoying the kick off to spooky season were All American‘s Michael Evans Behling, John Michael Higgins, Jaime Camil, Kalen Allen, and The Goldbergs‘ Hayley Orrantia.

The Act‘s Calum Worthy and longtime love Celestia Deastis were also at the event along with Chuck Liddell, Barbara Alyn Woods, Zackary Arthur, Alyvia Alyn Lind, and Don Mancini.

Halloween Horror Nights is going on now through Sunday, October 31.

Casting for the upcoming Chucky television series has been announced!

USA Network and Syfy are teaming up to bring the iconic movie villain from the Child’s Play series to the small screen.

Jennifer Tilly is confirmed to reprise her role as Tiffany Valentine from the movies and Devon Sawa has joined the cast in an unspecified role. They will both be recurring stars on the series, according to Deadline.

Four teen leads have also been announced: Transparent‘s Zackary Arthur, Ratched‘s Teo Briones, Daybreak‘s Alyvia Alyn Lind, and The Seventh Day‘s Björgvin Arnarson.

In the television series, “after a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.”

Don Mancini, the creator of the Child’s Play franchise, is also creating the TV series and will serve as showrunner and executive producer.

Netflix’s Daybreak has been canceled after just one season.

Co-creator Aron Coleite made the announcement on Twitter on Monday (December 16).

The statement reads: “We learned last week that Daybreak will not be returning for a second season. We’re so sorry we couldn’t share it with you sooner but also grateful that we got to hang out in these last few live tweet sessions with all of you. Thank you for picking up what we put down, for running with it in all of your amazing, weird, monstrous ways and for being such an important part of this show and our experience making it.”

“No one is as heartbroken as we are that we can’t share more of this ride with you,” the statement continues. “But we’re so grateful to have gotten to bring it this far.”

The black comedy series starred Colin Ford, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Sophie Simnett, Austin Crute, Cody Kearsley, Jeante Godlock, Gregory Kasyan, Krysta Rodriguez, and Matthew Broderick.

Based on a comic book series of the same name by Brian Ralph, Daybreak told the story of high school outcast Josh as he searches for his missing girlfriend in post apocalyptic Glendale. He’s joined by a group of misfits Angelica and his former bully Wesley.

It premiered on October 24 on Netflix.

The new Netflix series Daybreak is streaming now and we caught up with one of the show’s stars, Alyvia Alyn Lind, to learn more about her.

The 12-year-old actress is already recognizable to audiences for her work on shows like Revenge, Transparent, and The Young and the Restless, plus movies like Blended and Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors.

Daybreak takes place in post-apocalyptic Los Angeles and follows a slacker (Colin Ford) who strives to find the girl of his dreams while outwitting mindless ghouls and cliquish gangs.
