Selena Gomez is stepping out to support Amanda Seyfried at a screening of her new movie!

The 33-year-old singer/actress shared a big hug with the 40-year-old Emmy-winning actress at the screening and reception of the new movie The Testament of Ann Lee on Friday evening (December 12) in Los Angeles.

Amanda‘s co-star Lewis Pullman was also at the event along with director Mona Fastvold and screenwriter Brady Corbet.

Other famous guests in attendance at the event Casey Affleck, Kiernan Shipka, Max Minghella, filmmaker Sammi Cohen, and Slip actress Zoe Lister-Jones.

The movie is described by the festival as “an epic fable inspired by the life of Ann Lee, the founder of the Shakers, a radical religious movement that began in the late 1700s.”

In a recent interview, Amanda said that she had to change her singing style for her role in the movie.

The Testament of Ann Lee hits theaters on Christmas Day, December 25.

Paul Mescal joined co-stars Denzel Washington, Connie Nielsen, and Fred Hechinger at a special screening of Gladiator II on Friday evening (October 18) held at Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles.

Other stars in attendance included Saoirse Ronan, Casey Affleck and girlfriend Caylee Cowan, Bill Newman, Malin Akerman, Patrick Stewart, Minka Kelly and boyfriend Dan Reynolds, Sasha Pieterse, Sofia Boutella, Debbie Allen, Rebel Wilson, Tony Revolori, and Christina Milian.

From legendary director Ridley Scott, Gladiator II continues the epic saga of power, intrigue, and vengeance set in Ancient Rome. Noah Centineo and Casey Affleck enjoyed a fun night out together this week!

The two actors were seen leaving the Doheny Room on Monday night (August 26) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The guys were in attendance at actress Priya Jain‘s birthday party that evening. Casey was there with his longtime partner Caylee Cowan, who is one of the birthday girl’s best friends.

“I turned 27, had a party and everyone I love was there 🥹💖🎂,” Priya wrote on Instagram with a bunch of photos from the party, including many shots that included Caylee.

“Happy birthday angel! 🎂 I love you!💕,” Caylee commented on the post.

It’s unclear if Noah and Casey were already friends before attending the party, but it definitely looks like they had a good time together.
