Tom Blyth and Russell Tovey are starring in the steamy new movie Plainclothes and an official trailer was just released.

The movie, set in 1990s Syracuse, follows a promising undercover officer (Blyth) assigned to lure and arrest gay men who defies orders when he falls in love with a target (Tovey).

At his mother’s New Year’s Eve party Lucas, a young police officer, loses a letter no one was ever meant to read. Amid the backdrop of the suffocating family party, the search for the letter unlocks memories of a past he’s tried to forget: months earlier, while working undercover in a mall bathroom, Lucas arrested men by seducing them. But when he encounters Andrew, everything changes. What begins as another setup becomes something far more electric and intimate. As their secret connection deepens and police pressure to deliver arrests intensifies, Lucas finds himself torn between duty and desire. With time running out and his past closing in, PLAINCLOTHES builds toward a New Year’s Eve reckoning where everything he’s buried threatens to erupt.

Also starring in the Sundance hit, written and directed by Carmen Emmi, are Amy Forsyth, Christian Cooke, Maria Dizzia, and Gabe Fazio.

Connie Britton and Taylor Schilling are hitting the red carpet!

The two actress joined young co-star Colin O’Brien at the premiere of their upcoming Apple TV+ series Dear Edward on Tuesday night (January 31) at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Jenna Qureshi, Maxwell Jenkins, Anna Uzele, Brittany S. Hall, Eva Ariel Binder, Idris DeBrand, Amy Forsyth, Audrey Corsa, Ivan Shaw, Carter Hudson, and Dario Ladani Sanchez.

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for the highly anticipated series Dear Edward, which is the new show from Friday Night Lights creator Jason Katims.

Connie Britton stars in the new series and it marks her reunion with Jason after working together on the beloved football drama.

Dear Edward tells the story of Edward Adler (Colin O’Brien), a 12-year-old boy who survives a devastating commercial plane crash that kills every other passenger on the flight, including his family. As Edward and a diverse ensemble of others affected by the tragedy try to make sense of life after the crash, unexpected friendships, romances and communities are formed.

Also starring in the series are Taylor Schilling, Amy Forsyth, Eva Ariel Binder, Brittany S. Hall, Idris Debrand, Carter Hudson, Maxwell Jenkins, Jenna Qureshi, Audrey Corsa, Anna Uzele, Ivan Shaw and Dario Ladani Sanchez.

The show will make its global debut with the first three episodes of its 10-episode first season on Friday, February 3 followed by one new episode weekly every Friday through March 24.

The cast of CODA has arrived at the 2022 Academy Awards!

Emilia Jones, Marlee Matlin, and Troy Kotsur all gathered up for the award show on Sunday (March 27) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Eugenio Derbez, Daniel Durant, Amy Forsyth, and writer/director Sian Heder were also spotted on the red carpet.

CODA is up for three awards tonight – Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Troy, and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Make sure to tune in for the Oscars, airing TONIGHT at 8pm ET/5pm PT on ABC. The show is being hosted by Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes and an eclectic list of presenters will appear throughout the night.

Kodi Smit-McPhee had a date night at The Hollywood Reporter’s Oscar Nominees Night!

The 25-year-old actor and his longtime girlfriend Rebecca Phillipou celebrated his Oscar nomination at the event on Monday (March 7) at Spago in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Kodi is up for Best Supporting Actor for The Power of the Dog. Ciaran Hinds, who is nominated in the same category for Belfast, was also at the event.

More celebs who stepped out to ring in Oscars season included Heidi Klum and husband Tom Kaulitz, Chloe Bailey, Tika Sumpter, Inanna Sarkis and Matthew Noszka, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wilmer Valderrama and wife Amanda Pacheco, Bianca Lawson, and Amy Forsyth.

Questlove, who is nominated for Best Documentary Feature for Summer of Soul, was also there.

Isabelle Fuhrman and Amy Forsyth step out on the blue carpet at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday afternoon (March 6) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The two The Novice stars posed for pictures with their director, Lauren Hadaway, ahead of the show.

The Novice is actually nominated for Best Feature at the Spirit Awards.

Isabelle is up for Best Actress at the show, with Kali Reis, and Brittany S. Hall.

Amy was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress, as was Suzanna Son. Passing‘s Ruth Negga won that trophy.

Claire Danes, Jim Parsons, and Octavia Spencer team up for the premiere of their new movie A Kid Like Jake!

The co-stars stepped out for the event, presented by Ruffino Wines, at The Landmark at 57 West on Monday (May 21) in New York City.

Jim was wearing a leg brace and holding a cane due to a minor injury he sustained last week after tripping during the encore of the Broadway revival of The Boys in the Band, forcing the cancellation of a performance, Page Six reports.

The group was joined by their other co-stars Leo James Davis, Adam Butterfield, Aneesh Sheth, and director Silas Howard.

Amy Forsyth, Hailie Sahar, and Juana Burga also stepped out to show their support.

In A Kid Like Jake, A Brooklyn couple has always known that their 4-year-old son is more interested in fairy tale princesses than toy cars.
