Kate Winslet & Son Joe Anders Bring Their Movie 'Goodbye June' to NYC Ahead of Netflix Premiere

Kate Winslet and her son Joe Anders are making another red carpet appearance to promote their new film!

The mother-son duo teamed up for the Netflix holiday movie Goodbye June, which he wrote and she directed and starred in.

Kate and Joe walked the red carpet for the film’s Big Apple premiere on Monday night (December 8) at the Whitby Hotel in New York City.

Also in attendance were cast members Toni Collette, Andrea Riseborough, and Timothy Spall.

Goodbye June is hitting some theaters on December, and then will arrive on Netflix on December 24. Here’s the synopsis: “It’s nearly Christmas when an unexpected turn in their mother’s health thrusts four adult siblings, and their exasperating father, into chaos as they navigate messy family dynamics in the face of potential loss. But their quick-witted mother, June, orchestrates her decline on her own terms – with biting humor, blunt honesty, and a lot of love.”

Kate Winslet is hitting the red carpet with her son!

The 50-year-old Oscar-winning actress and her son Joe Anders stepped out for the premiere of their new movie Goodbye June on Wednesday (December 3) held at the Curzon Mayfair in London, England.

If you didn’t know, Kate shares Joe, 21, with ex-husband Sam Mendes.

Cast members in attendance included Toni Collette, Andrea Riseborough, Johnny Flynn, and Timothy Spall.

Kate Winslet is hard at work on her upcoming directorial debut movie and she has a talented cast set for the project!

The Oscar-winning actress is starring in and directing the upcoming family drama Goodbye June for Netflix. She was spotted on the set of the film on Tuesday (March 11) in London, England.

Also spotted on set were co-stars Toni Collette, Andrea Riseborough, and Timothy Spall.

Kate‘s son Joe Anders wrote the movie, which is “a present day, fictional drama, set in England. A touching, yet humorous story which sees a fractured group of siblings pull together under sudden and trying circumstances.”

This will be Kate‘s second time as a producer on a movie project following her work on the film Lee, which earned her a BAFTA nomination for Outstanding British Film of the Year.
