Goodbye June is out now on Netflix!

The movie, which is Kate Winslet‘s directorial debut with a script written by her 22-year-old son Joe Anders, just hit the streamer on Christmas Eve (December 24).

The film takes place just before Christmas, when an unexpected turn in their mother’s health thrusts four adult siblings and their exasperating father into chaos as they navigate messy family dynamics in the face of potential loss. But their quick-witted mother, June, orchestrates her decline on her own terms — with biting humour, blunt honesty, and a lot of love.

Kate Winslet is hitting the red carpet with her son!

The 50-year-old Oscar-winning actress and her son Joe Anders stepped out for the premiere of their new movie Goodbye June on Wednesday (December 3) held at the Curzon Mayfair in London, England.

If you didn’t know, Kate shares Joe, 21, with ex-husband Sam Mendes.

Cast members in attendance included Toni Collette, Andrea Riseborough, Johnny Flynn, and Timothy Spall.

Here’s the logline: It’s nearly Christmas when an unexpected turn in their mother’s health thrusts four adult siblings, and their exasperating father, into chaos as they navigate messy family dynamics in the face of potential loss. But their quick-witted mother, June, orchestrates her decline on her own terms – with biting humor, blunt honesty, and a lot of love.

The film is hitting some theaters on December 12, 2025, and then will arrive on Netflix on December 24, 2025.

The Harry Potter HBO TV series is coming, and a bunch of names just got added to the growing cast.

The new cast members include Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley, Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy and Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy.

Leo Earley stars as Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni as Parvati Patil, and Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown.

Bel Powley plays Petunia Dursley and Daniel Rigby stars as Vernon Dursley, while Bertie Carvel is Cornelius Fudge.

The series is described as a “faithful adaptation of the beloved Harry Potter books by author and executive producer J.K. Rowling. Each season will bring Harry Potter to new and existing audiences, streaming exclusively on HBO Max where it’s available, including in upcoming launch markets Germany, Italy and the UK. The original classic films will remain available to watch around the world.”

Andrew Scott is attending another special screening of his new Netflix series.

The 47-year-old Emmy-nominated actor stepped out for a screening of Ripley hosted by BAFTA on Wednesday evening (March 27) held at the Metrograph in New York City.

Andrew sported a gray striped suit with a brown shirt and black tie as he joined fellow cast members Johnny Flynn, Eliot Sumner, and Maurizio Lombardi along with writer, director, and executive producer Steve Zaillian at the screening.

In the eight-episode limited series Ripley, Andrew plays Tom Ripley, a grifter scraping by in early 1960s New York, who is hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy to try to convince his vagabond son to return home. Tom’s acceptance of the job is the first step into a complex life of deceit, fraud and murder.

All episodes of the series will premiere on Netflix on April 4 – watch the trailer here!

The 25-year-old The Great actress was joined by her boyfriend Gus Wenner while attending a screening of Dakota‘s new limited series Ripley on Tuesday (March 26) at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York City.

Dakota attended the event alongside co-stars Andrew Scott, Johnny Flynn, Eliot Sumner, and Maurizio Lombardi, as well as writer, director, and executive producer Steve Zaillian.
