Claire Foy & Rooney Mara Attend the Premiere of Their New Movie 'Women Talking' in Beverly Hills

Claire Foy and Rooney Mara are stepping out for the premiere of their new movie.

The actresses attended the premiere of Women Talking on Thursday evening (November 17) at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Fellow cast members in attendance include Ben Whishaw, Frances McDormand, Kate Hallett, Shayla Brown, Liv McNeil, Michelle McLeod, August Winter, Sheila McCarthy, and Kira Guloien.

Rooney Mara & Claire Foy Bring Their New Movie 'Women Talking' To Telluride

Rooney Mara and Claire Foy join their co-stars for a special event at the 2022 Telluride Film Festival over the weekend in Telluride, Co.

The two actresses joined co-stars Sheila McCarthy, Jessie Buckley, Frances McDormand and Michelle McLeod, with director Sarah Polley for a screening of their new movie, Women Talking.

The film is based on Miriam Toews’ 2018 novel, which was inspired by a true story of men drugging and raping women in a Mennonite colony.

In the drama film, nine women from three families who were chosen to break a tie and determine the path forward for all of the women in the colony after the men leave to try to bail out one man who was caught in the act. They have some 48 hours to make a decision.

The film is expected to release on December 2.

The next day, Jessie, Claire and Rooney joined many other stars at a “cast” portrait, which also included Cate Blanchett, Michelle Yeoh, Anne Hathaway and Robert Downey, Jr.

'The Tragedy of Macbeth' Cast Steps Out for the L.A. Red Carpet Premiere - See Photos!

The cast of The Tragedy of Macbeth is stepping out together!

Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand led the way at the film’s red carpet premiere on Thursday night (December 16) at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles.

The Oscar winners were joined by co-stars Corey Hawkins, Alex Hassell, Moses Ingram, Sean Patrick Thomas, Stephen Root, and Lucas Barker, as well as writer and director Joel Coen.

Other guests at the premiere included Sharon Stone and Ron Perlman.

The Tragedy of Macbeth will be released in theaters on December 25 ahead of a streaming debut on Apple TV+ on January 14. The film has been earning rave reviews and it currently has a 98% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Sign up now to watch the movie when it’s released!
