We’re still more than a month away from the Oscars, but the guild awards are already happening and Hollywood stepped out to support directors at the 2026 DGA Awards!

Leonardo DiCaprio, Olivia Wilde, Timothee Chalamet, and Kerry Washington were among the celebs at the Directors Guild of America Awards on Saturday night (February 7) at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.

One Battle After Another‘s Paul Thomas Anderson won the big award of the night for Theatrical Feature Film directing, paving his way to possibly take home the Best Director award at the Oscars next month.

Each of the five nominated directors – Anderson, Frankenstein‘s Guillermo Del Toro, Hamnet‘s Chloe Zhao, Marty Supreme‘s Josh Safdie, and Sinners‘ Ryan Coogler – received tributes from the collaborators during the event.

Leo honored Anderson, Jacob Elordi paid tribute to Del Toro, Hamnet producer Steven Spielberg honored Zhao, Timothee was there to honor Josh, and Michael B. Jordan paid tribute to Coogler.

There was a mini Veep reunion last night!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Timothy Simons stepped out to support their former co-star Tony Hale at the premiere of his new film Sketch on Monday night (July 28) at Cinemark Playa Vista in Los Angeles.

Tony and co-star D’Arcy Carden walked the carpet together and following the screening, Timothy moderated a Q&A with the cast and director.

Here’s the synopsis of the film: “Still reeling from the unexpected loss of his wife, a single dad (Hale) navigates uncharted territory when his daughter’s comically dark drawings begin to come to life and wreak havoc on their small town.”

Stars from The Handmaid’s Tale had a group outing at The Eras Tour on Saturday night (November 23) in Toronto, Ontario.

Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Madeline Brewer and Ever Carradine hit up Rodgers Centre for the final night of the tour in the Canadian city.

They were part of a group of friends that also included actor Josh Charles and his wife Sophie Flack, plus Ever‘s husband, songwriter Coby Brown, and actress Maja Balcerzak.

D’Arcy Carden, Ted Danson and Kristen Bell snap a group photo at the premiere of A Man on the Inside held at Tudum Theater on Sunday (November 10) in Los Angeles.

The trio had a mini The Good Place reunion nearly five years after it ended, as the ladies supported Ted at the premiere of his upcoming new Netflix series, which is created by Mike Schur, who also created The Good Place.

Also stepping out was the cast of A Man on the Inside, including Stephanie Beatriz, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, Margaret Avery, John Getz, Susan Ruttan, Clyde Kusatsu, Lori Tan Chinn, Marc Evan Jackson, Jama Williamson, Kerry O’Malley, Deuce Basco, Lincoln Lambert and Wyatt Yang.

After the screening, D’Arcy moderated a Q&A with the cast.

The Broadway musical Suffs just officially opened and a star-studded crowd attended to check out Hillary Clinton and Malala Yousafzai‘s producing debut!

Shaina Taub, who wrote the show and stars as suffragist Alice Paul, walked the red carpet alongside her fellow producers and celebs like Lin-Manuel Miranda on Thursday (April 18) at the Music Box Theatre in New York City.

More celebs in attendance included Anna Wintour, Sara Bareilles, Darren Criss, Melissa McCarthy, Ben Platt and Noah Galvin, Rachel Brosnahan and Jason Ralph, and many more.

Cast members including Tony winner Nikki M. James and Tony nominee Jenn Colella were also on the red carpet.

Featuring an all-female cast, Suffs takes place in the early 1900s as the women’s movement was heating up in America, anchored by the suffragists — “Suffs,” as they call themselves — and their relentless pursuit of the right to vote.

Kate Berlant had the support of many celeb friends at the opening night performance of her one-woman play Kate!

An L.A. crowd including Olivia Wilde and Brie Larson stepped out to attend the performance on Sunday night (January 21) at the Pasadena Playhouse in Pasadena, Calif.

Tatiana Maslany, Billy Eichner, Molly Shannon, Martha Plimpton, John C. Reilly and wife Alison Dickey, Kumail Nanjiani and wife Emily V. Gordon, Vanessa Bayer, D’Arcy Carden, Zoe Lister-Jones, cute couple Abbi Jacobson and Jodi Balfour, Bob Odenkirk, Lionel Boyce, Natasha Leggero, Chelsea Peretti, Timothy Simons, and Cazzie David were among the stars there.

Brie (who attended with a new rumored boyfriend) and Maya Rudolph aren’t pictured, but were both in attendance.

In the play, which previously had a sold-out run in New York, Kate explores the events of her life that have brought her to this moment. Embodying many characters in this tour de force performance, she expertly morphs before our eyes and exposes a truth she has, until now, kept hidden. The show is running through February 11. Annaleigh Ashford just won one of the most prestigious awards in the Broadway community!

The Tony-winning actress picked up the Distinguished Performance Award during the 2023 Drama League Awards on Friday afternoon (May 19) at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.

Annaleigh beat out 46 other nominees to be the sole performer to be recognized by the organization this year. She won the award for her work as Mrs. Lovett in the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd.

Some Like It Hot won the award for Outstanding Production of a Musical, Into the Woods won Outstanding Revival of a Musical, Leopoldstadt won Outstanding Production of a Play, and A Doll’s House won Outstanding Revival of a Play.
