The full trailer for the upcoming eighth season of Formula 1: Drive to Survive has dropped!

Netflix unleashed the teaser for the new episodes on Thursday (February 12), which follows the behind-the-scenes of the 2025 F1 season.

Here’s a synopsis: Offering unprecedented access, this new season will once again take fans behind the scenes, to witness first-hand how the drivers and teams prepare to battle it out for the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The series will offer never-before-seen footage as we follow new team lineups, management takedowns, fierce friendships and bitter rivalries of another high-octane season on the Formula 1 circuit.

Speaking of Christian Horner, the trailer ends with him saying, “I’ve had something taken away from me that wasn’t my choice,” to wife Geri Halliwell. It then cuts to him in the Drive to Survive interview seat, where he says, “I think we’re done,” and gets up to walk away.

If you recall, it was announced mid-season last year that Christian would be leaving Red Bull after being the Team Principal and CEO for it’s entire run over the last 20 years.

Lewis Hamilton is keeping his personal life to himself!

Over the past several weeks, it has been rumored that the 41-year-old British Formula 1 driver has been dating Kim Kardashian. After they were spotted spending time together in Paris, Lewis and the 45-year-old reality star attended the 2026 Super Bowl together last weekend.

In a new interview ahead of this year’s Formula 1 season, Lewis was reportedly asked about Kim.

Lewis Hamilton is gearing up for Formula 1 testing this week!

The 41-year-old seven-time champion will be going into his second season with Scuderia Ferrari HP, with pre-season testing kicking off on Wednesday (February 11) in Bahrain.

Along with his racing career, Lewis has become synonymous with fashion, having shown off many incredible looks in the paddock, sitting front row at fashion shows, and even serving as a co-chair for the 2025 Met Gala!

Formula 1 will be going through some major regulation changes for the 2026 season, which will officially kick off with the first race in early March in Australia.

There will once again be 24 races, as there have been for the past couple years, with the drivers racing around the world across five continents.

With the new season comes some driver changes, and an 11th team joining the grid!

The 2025 Formula 1 racing season is well underway, with 13 races done and the 14th taking place this weekend.

McLaren’s Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have been dominating the season, picking up ten of the 13 wins, and more than twice as many points of team in second place in the constructors championship.

Anthony Mackie is all smiles while chatting in the Scuderia Ferrari HP garage on Saturday (August 2) at the Hungaroring in Budapest, Hungary.

The 46-year-old actor was seen meeting up and talking with Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton ahead of the third practice session.

That session, Lewis‘ fastest lap put him in fourth place, just behind his teammate Charles Leclerc. Later in the day during qualifying, Lewis unfortunately was knocked in Q2 and will start on the grid in 12th place for the 2025 Formula 1 Lenovo Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday (August 3), which starts at 9am ET/6am PT.

Just a couple days earlier, the second season of Anthony‘s Peacock series Twisted Metal debuted it’s first three episodes. New episodes will continue to roll out on Thursdays through August 28th.

This weekend marks the halfway mark of the 2025 F1 season!

Formula 1 takes part throughout several months of the year, with 24 races on the calendar from March to December.

With the season being halfway over, there has been much speculation about half of the grid’s future as several contracts are up at the end of this year.

Exact details of driver contracts are typically unavailable, though many will sign “multi-year” contracts, but this could also only mean two years.

As this season continues, we are taking a look at where each driver’s future currently stands based on their contract with their team.

The new movie F1 had a star-studded premiere in Times Square with many real-life drivers in attendance!

Lewis Hamilton (who is one of the film’s producers), Lando Norris, and Charles Leclerc were among the drivers who walked the carpet at the premiere on Monday night (June 16) in New York City.

Brad Pitt and Damson Idris star in the new film, but many of the drivers you know and love already will be making appearances as themselves in the movie. All ten Formula One teams from the 2023 season are featured in the film.

Brad Pitt and Damson Idris led the red carpet arrivals at the event on Monday night (June 16) in New York City.

Also in attendance were co-stars Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, Joseph Balderrama, Sarah Niles, Samson Kayo, Abdul Salis, Callie Cooke, and Will Merrick, as well as director Joseph Kosinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

Brad and Damson posed alongside real-life race car driver Lewis Hamilton, who also produced the movie and appears as himself in the film. After the red carpet event in Times Square, the stars went to Radio City Music Hall to watch the movie.

Lewis Hamilton is addressing the casualty that took place during his latest F1 race.

On Sunday (June 15), the 40-year-old Ferrari race car driver competed in the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal and during an early lap in the race, Lewis accidentally ran over a groundhog.

“I got a good start [to the race], held position… so I was feeling optimistic,” Lewis, who is vegan and a big animal rights activist, told Sky Sports. “Then, and I didn’t see it happen, but I heard I hit a groundhog, so that’s devastating.”

Keep reading to find out more…Lewis went on to say that he was more concerned about what happened to the animal than how it impacted his performance in the race or how it damaged his car.

“I love animals, and that’s so, so sad,” he said. “That’s horrible. That’s never happened to me here before. But the floor, the right side, there’s a hole in it, and all the vanes are all gone.”

Due to brake issues and the incident with the groundhog, Lewis‘ position dropped from fifth place to seven, but he ultimately finished the race in sixth place.

“Given that [moment with the groundhog] and we had a brake issue halfway through as well… it just went from one thing to another,” Lewis said. “So I’m happy I could just finish.”

In another recent interview, Lewis Hamilton detailed his involvement, both on-screen and behind-the-scenes, in Brad Pitt‘s upcoming F1 movie.

Lewis Hamilton is opening up about his behind-the-scenes role on the upcoming F1 movie.

The 40-year-old Ferrari Formula 1 driver serves as a producer on the film, in addition to appearing on screen.

In a new interview ahead of the movie’s release later this month, Lewis dished on just how involved he was in the making of the film.

“It’s been a huge learning experience for me to get to learn in the presence of Joe [Kosinski] and Jerry [Bruckheimer]. Jerry’s just such a legend. He’s done so many great films and Joe is such a perfectionist,” Lewis shared with Variety. “It’s been amazing to see all the work that goes on in the background of making a movie. Because I love film. I love watching series, and particularly movies. I watch a lot of movies, and you want one that’s this action-packed, and keeps you on edge the whole way through.”

He continued, “I would often come to L.A. and be in Jerry’s office, which was mad, or Joe’s studio going through beat by beat the script, the dialog, the terminology that’s authentic to racing drivers, switches, gear shift sounds you’ll hear that are overlapping. I got to get involved in all that. And then we got [composer] Hans Zimmer on board, and we go to his studio and see him create. It’s been an emotional roller coaster.”

Lewis also dished on helping hone in on the characters and bringing some diversity to the movie.

“I said to Jerry and Joe, when we do this film, we want to make sure that people watching it see what we want [Formula 1] to be in future, so it is super diverse,” the seven-time F1 champion said. “You’ve got this amazing woman who’s the main engineer [played by Kerry Condon], and you’ve never seen a woman in the pit stop before. These young kids are going to be able to see that it doesn’t matter what your gender is, what your religion is — there’s a place for you. And that’s the part that I wanted to contribute, to make sure to put on the screen.”

“I’ve invited Lauryn Hill, Regina King, Jordan Casteel, Ming Smith, Adrienne Warren, Danielle Deadwyler, Lorna Simpson, and Radhika Jones to my table this year. Thank you all for your presence, your power, and the gifts you so generously share with the world. I’m deeply grateful to have shared this evening with you,” he continued.

The Wall Street Journal reports that a table at the Met Gala starts at $350,000 as of 2025.

He did the same thing in 2021, when he bought a whole table to showcase emerging Black designers.

“It’s hard to put into words what it means to co-chair this year’s Met. This year’s theme speaks to royalty, spirituality, and the sacred power of adornment. Materials like ivory and cowrie aren’t just beautiful—they carry ancestral memory. They are markers of identity, protection, and reverence,” Lewis said on social media about this year’s gala.

“I’m deeply grateful to the Costume Institute at The Met, to Grace Wales Bonner, to the incredible co-chairs, and to everyone who continues to honor the legacy of the Black Dandy. We’ve always been here. We’ve always been fly. And now, we’re seen.”

The Met Gala focused on menswear and suiting this year with a “Tailored for You” dress code. The event ceelrbated the opening of the museum’s new exhibition “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which draws inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.
