Rob & Michele Reiner's Son Nick Is 'Responsible' For Their Deaths, Police Say in New Statement

The police have released another statement about the deaths of Rob and Michele Reiner, this time confirming that their son Nick, 32, is “responsible” for their deaths.

If you don’t know, the 78-year-old legendary director and his 68-year-old wife were found dead at their Los Angeles home on Sunday (December 14). Early reports suggest their daughter, Romy, is the one who found them.

We found out hours ago that their 32-year-old son Nick had been arrested and booked for murder.

“The investigation further revealed that Nick Reiner, the 32-year-old son of Robert and Michele Reiner, was responsible for their deaths. Nick Reiner was located and arrested at approximately 9:15 p.m. He was booked for murder and remains in custody with no bail. On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration,” the statement read, in part.

Earlier today, it was said that bail was set at $4 million, but now it appears that has changed as they have indicated no bail is set.
