Casting has been announced for the world premiere production of the upcoming stage adaptation of Purple Rain!

The new musical, featuring music and lyrics by Prince, will have its world premiere at Hennepin Arts’ historic State Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota from October 16 to November 16.

A former assistant of the 55-year-old music mogul testified about the experience on Thursday (May 29), going by the pseudonym of “Mia.”

During Day 12 of the sex trafficking trial, she recalled an incident in 2012 when she and Cassie went out to a party without Diddy‘s permission.

The 12th day of the Sean “Diddy” Combs sex trafficking trial has begun.

On Thursday morning (May 29), after Capricorn Clark, a former assistant of Diddy, took to the witness stand earlier in the week, plus personnel from the Los Angeles Police and Fire Departments. A former stylist testified Wednesday (May 28), and the stylist has returned to take the witness stand.

There will also be testimony from a woman using pseudonym “Mia,” also described as “Victim-4.”

Diddy was arrested in 2024 for alleged sex trafficking, prostitution, racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, as well as transportation to engage in prostitution.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
