Robin Hood is coming back for a second season!
MGM+ has announced the renewal of the adventure drama, which was one of the streamer’s “all-time best first-season performers.”
Following the success of the first season, the series will return for 10 more episodes!

More actors have been cast in the upcoming Robin Hood movie!
On Friday (February 7), it was announced that Bill Skarsgard, Murray Bartlett, and Noah Jupe have joined the cast of the upcoming The Death of Robin Hood, written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, Variety reports.
The trio of actors join previously announced stars Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer.

Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer are teaming up for a new adaptation of Robin Hood!
The two actors will star in the film The Death of Robin Hood, according to Deadline.
The movie is being described as “a darker reimagining of the classic Robin Hood tale. Set of its time, the film will see the title character grappling with his past after a life of crime and murder, a battleworn loner who finds himself gravely injured and in the hands of a mysterious woman who offers him a chance at salvation.”
Michael Sarnoski, who previously made Pig and the upcoming A Quiet Place: Day One, will write and direct the movie.
“It has been an incredible opportunity to reinvent and freshly innovate the story we all know of Robin Hood,” Michael said in a statement. “Securing the perfect cast to transform the script to screen was essential. I could not be more thrilled and trusting in Hugh and Jodie to bring this story to life in a powerful and meaningful way.”
Production will begin in February 2025.

Walt Disney Pictures is looking at Robin Hood for its’ next live action adaption.
The rumored project would head to Disney+, just like Lady and the Tramp did at the streaming service’s launch late last year.
Blindspotting director Carlos Lopez Estrada is set to direct the project with a script from Kari Granlund, THR reports.
Disney’s version of Robin Hood premiered in 1973 and animals took on the roles of the fabled hero.
The new take is said to be a musical and again will feature the characters as anthropomorphic, this time in a live-action/CG hybrid format.
