Netflix has released a first look at their new Pride and Prejudice TV show, starring Emma Corrin as Elizabeth Bennet and Jack Lowden as the iconic Mr. Darcy.
The Jane Austen adaptation also features Rufus Sewell as Mr. Bennet, Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet, Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins, Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley, Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham, Rhea Norwood as Lydia Bennet, Siena Kelly as Caroline Bingley and Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourg.

Jack Lowden and Emma Corrin get to work filming Netflix’s Pride and Prejudice!
The pair were spotted on the set on Saturday (October 18) in London, England in full costume, filming a scene for the upcoming period piece.
If you don’t know, Emma is set to portray the iconic role of Elizabeth Bennet while Jack is taking on the role of Mr. Darcy.
Netflix previously revealed a first look and explained that this will be a six-part limited series.
It is said to be a faithful adaptation of the 1813 novel from Heartstopper director Euros Lyn and screenwriter Dolly Alderton.
Keira Knightley famously portrayed Elizabeth Bennet in the Pride and Prejudice film opposite Matthew Macfadyen‘s Mr. Darcy.
Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle played the roles in the 1995 BBC version.

The cast of Pride & Prejudice, Netflix’s limited series based on the beloved 1800s Jane Austen novel, has been set!
The Crown‘s Emma Corrin will take on the role of Elizabeth Bennet, Slow Horses‘ Jack Lowden will play Mr. Darcy, and Oscar winner Olivia Colman will portray Mrs. Bennet.
Production on the six-episode limited series will take place later this year in the UK, and will be directed by Euros Lyn. Dolly Alderton is writing the scripts. Jack‘s casting was rumored just yesterday, and now it looks to be confirmed!
