There were so many celebs at the 2026 AFI Awards luncheon and we have photos of everyone who attended!

All of the top awards contenders, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothee Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Michael B. Jordan, Emma Stone, Ariana Grande, and more stepped out for the event on Friday afternoon (January 9) at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.

Every year, the AFI Awards recognizes the top projects in both film and television, but doesn’t do separate awards for acting, directing, writing, etc.

The Top 10 movies chosen by AFI are often the films that end up getting nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars, so this is a great first look at what you can expect for the 2026 awards season.

Keri Russell is stepping out to promote her hit Netflix show!

The 49-year-old Golden Globe winner joined co-stars Rufus Sewell and Allison Janney at Netflix’s The Diplomat FYC Event on Saturday (November 8) held at the Netflix Tudum Theater in Los Angeles.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Bradley Whitford, Nana Mensah, David Gyasi, Ali Ahn, and Ato Essandoh.

Here’s the show’s logline: “In the midst of an international crisis, a career diplomat lands in a high-profile job she’s unsuited for, with tectonic implications for her marriage and her political future.”

Season three of The Diplomat was released on Netflix last month and the show has already been renewed for a fourth season. While filming is said to begin soon, it has been revealed that two stars have exited the series.

In season three, Ambassador Kate Wyler (Keri Russell) lives the particular nightmare that is getting what you want. She just accused Vice President Grace Penn (Allison Janney) of hatching a terrorist plot and admitted she’s after the VP’s job. But now the President is dead, Kate’s husband Hal (Rufus Sewell) may have inadvertently killed him, and Grace Penn is leader of the free world. None of this slows Hal’s campaign to land Kate the vice presidency. Netflix is giving us the first glimpse of Pride and Prejudice!

The limited series just revealed its supporting cast alongside a first look photo, as production begins in the United Kingdom.

The Jane Austen adaptation features Rufus Sewell as Mr. Bennet, Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet, Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins, Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley, Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham, Rhea Norwood as Lydia Bennet, Siena Kelly as Caroline Bingley and Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourg.

The Diplomat is getting a fourth season!

Ahead of the release of Season 3, the Netflix hit series has already greenlit a Season 4.

The streamer declares: “Kate (Keri Russell), Hal Wyler (Rufus Sewell), and the rest of the political power players will be back for more stately homes and state secrets.”

The third season of the series will see Bradley Whitford join the cast as Todd Penn, the husband of Allison Janney’s President Grace Penn.
