It was announced almost exactly three years ago that Gerard Butler and Mike Colter‘s movie Plane was getting a sequel, but it never happened. Now, we have more info on what happened.

Mike was set to lead the sequel, Ship, and while Gerard wasn’t expected to star in the film alongside him, a cameo appearance was probably and he was going to return as a producer.

In a new interview, Mike said the movie was canceled after Gerard backed out of the project at the last minute.

Hamilton star Renée Elise Goldsberry is one of the latest actors to join the upcoming CBS legal drama Cupertino, the latest from Robert and Michelle King.

The role will reunite her with the Kings, who she has worked with previously on The Good Wife (as Geneva Pine) and on Evil. Cupertino also reunites her with her Evil co-star Mike Colter, who has been cast on the legal drama.

Mike Colter is dishing on the possibility of returning to Marvel.

The 48-year-old actor previously starred as Luke Cage, aka Power Man, in a two-season Netflix series, as well as on the streamers Jessica Jones and the mini-series The Defenders.

While the characters from the Netflix shows weren’t officially part of the MCU’s interconnected universe, minus Vincent D’Onofrio‘s Kingpin who made his debut in Hawkeye and Echo. Now, Vincent will be back again, along with Charlie Cox‘s Daredevil with a new Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again.

With the resurgence of some of those characters, Mike recently opened up about possibly reprising his role.

The second season of the Fox anthology series Accused is returning TONIGHT (October 8) and we have everything you need to know about the cast, plus why the actors change in every episode.

Fox bills the show as a “a collection of intense, topical and human stories of crime and punishment.”

Each episode is a fast-paced provocative thriller, exploring a different crime, in a different city, with an entirely original cast. Each episode opens in a courtroom on the defendant, with viewers knowing nothing about their crime or how they ended up on trial. Told from the defendant’s point of view through flashbacks, the show holds a mirror up to current times with evocative and emotional stories. In the end, audiences will discover how an ordinary person gets caught up in extraordinary circumstances, and how one impulsive decision can impact the course of that life – and the lives of others — forever.

Every single episode follows a different story with a completely new cast for every episode. The first season had 15 episodes, which you can stream now on Hulu. New episodes of season two will air on Tuesday nights at 8/7c.

Halle Berry is not afraid to show some skin!

The Oscar-winning actress wore a daring sheer dress while attending the red carpet premiere of her new Netflix movie The Union on Monday night (August 12) at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

Halle was joined at the event by co-stars Mark Wahlberg, Mike Colter, JK Simmons, Jackie Earle Haley, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Alice Lee, Jessica De Gouw, and director Julian Farino.

Mark brought his wife Rhea to the event!

Here’s a synopsis of the movie: Mike (Wahlberg) is happy living a simple life as a construction worker in his native New Jersey – until his long-lost high school sweetheart, Roxanne (Berry), shows up with more on her mind than romance. Knowing he’s the right man for the job, she recruits Mike on a dangerous intelligence mission in Europe that thrusts them back together into a world of spies and high-speed car chases, with sparks flying along the way.
