Each and every TV season, fans anxiously await announcements about their favorite programs, hoping for renewal news.

However, as is the case every year, there will always be some shows that are canceled due to budget constraints, ratings issues, and other factors.

2026 has unfortunately kicked off with several big TV show cancellations, and we’re recapping them all here.

So far, we’re noting a few prominent canceled shows, including 1 from CBS, 1 from NBC, 3 from Netflix, 1 from PBS, 1 from HGTV, 1 from Fox, and more. In addition, some shows were announced to be ending this year.

The Masked Singer and Fear Factor: House of Fear usually lead Wednesday nights on Fox, however, there’s a change taking place this evening.

Instead of airing the regularly scheduled programming, Fox is actually re-airing the 2024 television special The Real Full Monty to celebrate the memory of James Van Der Beek and to raise awareness for cancer. You can find out more about the cast of stars who participated in the special here. The special originally served as an evening to raise awareness for certain cancers. James passed away earlier this month at the young age of 48 after battling colorectal cancer for the past few years.

Fox is re-airing the 2024 television special The Real Full Monty to celebrate the memory of James Van Der Beek and to raise awareness for cancer.

The special, featuring six male celebs stripping on TV, originally served as an evening to raise awareness for prostate, testicular and colorectal cancer testing and research.

Anthony Anderson executive produced the special and is one of the six stars stripping down. He recruited five more guys to join him.

“Don’t die of embarrassment. Get checked! That’s the message behind The Real Full Monty special,” Anthony said in a statement. “I am honored to lead the charge of rallying these fearless men to bare it all, in order to provoke, inspire and in this case, beg you to get screened for cancer. That’s our goal…so what are you waiting for!?”

Anthony will lead the men “as they train and rehearse for the most revealing performance of their careers, culminating with a big strip-tease dance, choreographed by Emmy Award-winner Mandy Moore, where they will bare all in front of a live audience. Leading up to the final disrobing, the men will push their limits of comfortability, modesty and brotherhood with a series of rehearsals and experiences, both private and public, designed to build confidence and remove them far from their comfort zone and strengthen their bond as a group. Along the way, each of the celebrities will share their personal stories of how cancer has impacted their lives.”

Fox is airing the two-hour special again at 8/7c on Wednesday (February 18).

Stephen Amell has been cast as the lead star of the upcoming Baywatch reboot series.

The 44-year-old Arrow actor will play Hobie Buchannon, the son of David Hasselhoff‘s iconic character Mitch from the original series. The character was played by Brandon Call in season one and then later by Jeremy Jackson.

Variety reports that Hobie is the “wild child we all loved from the original series” who “is now a Baywatch Captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch.”

“Hobie’s world is turned upside down when Charlie, the daughter he never knew, shows up on his doorstep, eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy and become a Baywatch lifeguard alongside her dad,” the description read.

It’s unclear if Hasselhoff will be back for the reboot or not.

Fox has ordered a 12-episode first season for the 2026-2027 broadcast season and an open casting call for additional roles is set for February 18.

Series showrunner Matt Nix said, “From the first conversation, Stephen Amell brought exactly what this new chapter of Baywatch demands: heart, intensity, and that undeniable hero energy. He’s the kind of lead who can sprint into danger, carry the emotional weight, and still make it feel fun. We’re so excited to get started.”

The Masked Singer is back!

A new episode of season 14 of FOX’s hit mystery singing competition series aired on Wednesday night (February 11).

During the episode, Cat Witch, 14 Karat Carrot, Stingray, and Owl all hit the stage for another performance.

By the end of the episode, three contestants advanced to the next round of the competition while one star was eliminated and unmasked.
