Director on One of Robert Carradine's Final Films Reveals They Were Worried About Him

Connie Lamothe, the director of a project that Robert Carradine was set to star in, The Driver, is speaking out.

She claims “he went MIA from her film prior to the table read this week.” She revealed that the film was originally paused from the pandemic and it finally got back in track in January.

She apparently told TMZ he “went radio silent” and they were “worried,” but a cast mate knew of his struggles with mental health. They gave him space, and “hoped he would return.”

Robert passed away on Monday (February 23) at the age of 71 and his family confirmed his cause of death to be suicide after battling Bipolar Disorder.

Several stars have been open about battling the disorder over the years.
