Real-life uncle-and-nephew duo Joseph Fiennes and Hero Fiennes Tiffin are promoting their new project together!

Joseph and Hero hit the red carpet for the premiere of their new Prime Video series Young Sherlock on Tuesday (February 24) at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, England.

Hero is playing the role of a 19-year-old Sherlock Holmes when he was an amateur investigator at Oxford University and Joseph is playing his father Silas Holmes.

For those who don’t know, Hero‘s mother Martha Fiennes is Joseph‘s older sister!

Also in attendance at the premiere were co-stars Zine Tseng, Donal Finn, Max Irons, and Numan Acar, as well as director Guy Ritchie.

We have our first look at Hero Fiennes Tiffin as young Sherlock Holmes in the upcoming Guy Ritchie series Young Sherlock!

The series also stars Dónal Finn as James Moriarty, Zine Tseng as Princess Gulun Shou’an, Joseph Fiennes as Silas Holmes, Natascha McElhone as Cordelia Holmes, Max Irons as Mycroft Holmes, and Colin Firth as Sir Bucephalus Hodge. By the way, Joseph is Hero‘s uncle!

With all the wit and charm of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes feature films, Young Sherlock follows the origin story of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s beloved detective in an explosive re-imagining of this iconic character’s early days. Sherlock Holmes is a disgraced young man – raw and unfiltered – when he finds himself wrapped up in a murder case that threatens his liberty. His first ever case unravels a globe-trotting conspiracy that changes his life forever. The series will begin streaming on Prime Video sometime in 2026.

The series, adapted from the best-selling Margaret Atwood novel which is set in a dystopian future where women are forced to live as concubines under a fundamentalist theocratic dictatorship, was renewed for a sixth season in 2022.

June, Luke (O-T Fagbenle), and Moira (Samira Wiley) fight Gilead from a distance as they continue their mission to save and reunite with Hannah.
