Chris Hemsworth is very happy with his decision to move out of Los Angeles.
The 42-year-old actor is living in Australia where he grew up with his family now and during the latest episode of the SmartLess podcast, he said it was the “greatest decision” he’s made.

Chris Hemsworth was joined by some of his family for the LA premiere of his new movie Crime 101!
The 42-year-old actor hit the carpet with his younger brother Liam and their parents Craig and Leonie by his side.
Also stepping out for the premiere were Chris‘ co-stars Halle Berry, Corey Hawkins, Peter Banifaz, Tate Donovan, Crosby Fitzgerald, Paul Adelstein, Drew Powell, Andra Nechita, Matthew Del Negro and Dan Perrault, as well as writer/director Bart Layton and Don Winslow, who wrote the book the film is based on.
BFFs Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, with wife Luciana, were also seen at the event, along with filmmaker Paul Feig.

The 33-year-old actor channeled his character in the movie, and also showed off his longer hair for the upcoming Beatles biopic movie series, where he’s playing Ringo Starr.
Also stepping out for the premiere were his Crime 101 co-stars Halle Berry, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and Monica Barbaro, as well as writer/director Bart Layton.
Here’s a synopsis: Set against the sun-bleached grit of Los Angeles, CRIME 101 weaves the tale of an elusive thief (Hemsworth) whose high-stakes heists unfolding along the iconic 101 freeway have mystified police. When he eyes the score of a lifetime with hopes of this being his final job, his path collides with a disillusioned insurance broker (Berry) who is facing her own crossroads, forcing the two to collaborate. Determined to crack the case, a relentless detective (Ruffalo) closes in on the operation, raising the stakes even higher. As the multimillion-dollar heist approaches, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur, and all three are forced to confront the cost of their choices–and the realization that there’s no turning back.

Chris Hemsworth has kicked off the global press tour for his new crime-thriller movie Crime 101!
The 42-year-old actor stepped out for a photo call on Tuesday afternoon (January 27) on the Metropolis Hotel Rooftop in Madrid, Spain.
Chris was joined for the photos by the film’s writer and director, Bart Layton. While she didn’t pose for photos, Chris‘ wife Elsa Pataky was there as well!
Set against the sun-bleached grit of Los Angeles, Crime 101 weaves the tale of an elusive jewel thief (Hemsworth) whose string of heists along the 101 freeway have mystified police. Chris Hemsworth is officially returning as Thor in Avengers: Doomsday, and Marvel just released the new teaser trailer for the film.
The teaser features Thor saying a prayer to his father to go defeat one more enemy. There’s footage of Thor kissing his daughter, Love. His daughter happens to be played by Chris‘ real-life daughter India, 13.
“Father, all my life I’ve answered every call, to honor, duty, to war,” Thor can be heard saying in the footage. “But now fate has given me something I never sought: a child, a life untouched by the storm. Lend me the strength of the All Fathers so that I may fight once more, defeat one more enemy, and return home to her — and not as a warrior but as warmth, to teach her not battle but stillness, the kind I never knew. Please, father. Hear my words.”
Avengers: Doomsday releases in theaters in about one year, on December 18, 2026. The film will see nearly 30 Marvel stars come together for an epic film event.
