Timothee Chalamet is teasing the upcoming third Dune movie.
The 30-year-old actor will return as Paul Atreides for Dune: Messiah, and at a recent town hall event with Matthew McConaughey, opened up about filming the feature.

The third film in the Dune franchise is in the works and there are going to be some major updates to the cast.
Director Denis Villeneuve recently shared details about Dune: Messiah, which seemingly will be the final one in the series.
“I’m in the writing zone right now,” he told Deadline in an October 2024 interview, adding that the next movie will be completely different than the first two films.
“I think it’ll be a great idea to do something completely different. The story takes place like 12 years after where we left the characters at the end of Part Two. Their journey, their story is different this time, and that’s why I always say that while it’s the same world it’s a new film with new circumstances,” Denis said.
While there are more books in the Dune series following Dune: Messiah, Denis says the upcoming third movie “will finish the Paul Atreides arc.”
Denis also confirmed four actors “have to return. They are with the main cast when it happens. And more worms. What can I say?” We are expecting that five more actors will likely be back too and there are five stars we don’t think will return.

Jason Momoa is one proud father!
The 46-year-old actor is thrilled to see his son, Nakoa-Wolf Momoa, following in his footsteps. 16-year-old Nakoa-Wolf was recently cast in Dune: Part Three. He’ll be appearing in the movie alongside Jason, Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet.
According to Jason, he was hesitant about letting his son get into acting, but Nakoa-Wolf was determined to follow in his father’s footsteps and become an action star.

Reports suggested that the film would be named for the 1969 book from Frank Herbert, however, the director, Denis Villeneuve, is officially titling the movie Dune: Part Three.

It’s rumored that Dune 3, possibly titled Dune: Messiah, is about to begin filming this week and it looks like Timothee Chalamet might have a shaved head in the film.
The 29-year-old actor was spotted in St. Tropez, France on Saturday (July 5) with girlfriend Kylie Jenner and he kept his head covered from view.
Timothee was seen wearing a baseball cap with a bandana wrapped around his head like a babushka. You can see the photos on Page Six.
Fans noticed that the back of Timothee‘s head appears to be closely shaven, leading people to wonder if his full head is shaved for the movie. He’s also no longer sporting the mustache he had a month ago!
