The full trailer for the upcoming eighth season of Formula 1: Drive to Survive has dropped!

Netflix unleashed the teaser for the new episodes on Thursday (February 12), which follows the behind-the-scenes of the 2025 F1 season.

Here’s a synopsis: Offering unprecedented access, this new season will once again take fans behind the scenes, to witness first-hand how the drivers and teams prepare to battle it out for the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The series will offer never-before-seen footage as we follow new team lineups, management takedowns, fierce friendships and bitter rivalries of another high-octane season on the Formula 1 circuit.

The 2026 F1 season is beginning with livery and suit reveals, which means a new season of Drive to Survive is also almost here!

Netflix has just unveiled the release date for the docuseries, which will give a behind-the-scenes look at the motor sport’s 2025 Formula 1 season.

Formula 1 Contracts Revealed - Find Out When Each Driver's Current Deal Expires!

This weekend marks the halfway mark of the 2025 F1 season!

Formula 1 takes part throughout several months of the year, with 24 races on the calendar from March to December.

With the season being halfway over, there has been much speculation about half of the grid’s future as several contracts are up at the end of this year.

Exact details of driver contracts are typically unavailable, though many will sign “multi-year” contracts, but this could also only mean two years.

As this season continues, we are taking a look at where each driver’s future currently stands based on their contract with their team.

The new movie F1 had a star-studded premiere in Times Square with many real-life drivers in attendance!

Lewis Hamilton (who is one of the film’s producers), Lando Norris, and Charles Leclerc were among the drivers who walked the carpet at the premiere on Monday night (June 16) in New York City.

Brad Pitt and Damson Idris star in the new film, but many of the drivers you know and love already will be making appearances as themselves in the movie. All ten Formula One teams from the 2023 season are featured in the film.

Formula 1 Reserve Drivers for 2025 - Find Out Who Could Step Up & Race If Needed!

The 2025 F1 season is fully underway!

As the 20 Formula 1 drivers – including champions Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton – hit the grid for each race weekend, there are several more waiting in the wings.

Each Formula 1 team has two drivers on the grid for each race, given they have a car, but just in case a driver can’t perform their race duties, there are reserve drivers to step in in case of illness, injury or maybe even suspension.

The reserve drivers will also be in attendance at most, if not all, grand prix weekends, at the chance they may need to be called up to race.

In addition to sitting on the sidelines, they also have other duties within the team, which may include simulator work, sitting in engineering meetings, testing, and more.
