Jessie Buckley and her movie Hamnet won big at the 2026 Irish Film & TV Awards!

The Oscar-nominated actress picked up the Best Lead Actress award at the event on Friday (February 20) at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre in Dublin, Ireland.

The movie also won the awards for International Film, Best Script, and Best Lead Actor for Paul Mescal.

Other attendees of the event included Cillian Murphy with wife Yvonne McGuinness, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Ciaran Hinds.

Lola Petticrew accepted Best Lead Actress – TV Drama for Trespasses, Anthony Boyle was there to received Best Lead Actor – TV Drama for House of Guinness, and Alison Oliver accepted the award for Best Supporting Actress – TV Drama for Task.

More celebs who showed up included Tom Cullen, Saipan nominee Steve Coogan, House of Guinness nominees Jack Gleeson and Fionn O’Shea.

Bradley Cooper steps out in a gray trench coat for the UK premiere of his new movie Is This Thing On?

The 51-year-old star, director and writer of the movie was joined by several of his co-stars, as well as comedian John Bishop, whose life the film is inspired by.

On the red carpet, Bradley could be seen in a group hug with cast members Will Arnett, Ciaran Hinds, Laura Dern and Andra Day, as well as John. Also stepping out was Laura‘s daughter Jaya Harper.

Is This Thing On? is currently in theaters in the US, but it doesn’t debut in the UK until January 30th.

Here’s the official film description: “As their marriage quietly unravels, Alex (Arnett) faces middle age and an impending divorce, seeking new purpose in the New York comedy scene while Tess (Dern) confronts the sacrifices she made for their family—forcing them to navigate co-parenting, identity, and whether love can take a new form.”

Searchlight Pictures just shared a new trailer for upcoming film Is This Thing On? directed by Bradley Cooper.

The 50-year-old A Star is Born actor also produced, co-wrote, and stars in the movie. Will Arnett also stars, produces, and co-wrote the script with Bradley.

Bradley Cooper‘s Is This Thing On? is coming!

The movie is inspired by the life of British comedian John Bishop, and is set to premiere at the 2025 New York Film Festival during the closing night on October 10 at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.

The cast includes Will Arnett, Christine Ebersole, Ciarán Hinds, Peyton Manning, Amy Sedaris, Laura Dern, Andra Day and Sean Hayes.

Mark Wahlberg has an exciting new movie being released just in time for the holidays and the first trailer was just unveiled online.

The Oscar-nominated actor is starring alongside Michelle Monaghan in the action comedy film The Family Plan, which drops on Apple TV+ on December 15.

Here is the synopsis: “Dan Morgan (Wahlberg) loves his quiet suburban life as a devoted husband, father of three and successful car salesman. But that’s only half the story. Decades earlier, he was an elite government assassin tasked with eliminating the world’s deadliest threats. The night of the 2022 National Board of Review Awards Gala has arrived and lots of stars stepped out on the red carpet!

Bradley Cooper and King Richard stars Will Smith and Aunjanue Ellis were among the celebs who walked the red carpet at the event on Tuesday night (March 15) at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.

Throughout the last 30 years, the winner of the Best Picture award at the National Board of Review Awards has gone on to receive an Oscar nomination every year except for three times.

The award winners were announced back in early December 2021.

The 2022 BAFTAs show is less than 24 hours away and many of the nominees stepped out to celebrate their nominations at a pre-party!

West Side Story‘s Ariana DeBose, The Power of the Dog‘s Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Licorice Pizza‘s Alana Haim were among the nominated stars who attended the reception on Saturday night (March 12) in London, England.

One interesting thing about the BAFTAs nominees is that in the Best Actress category, none of the six nominated actresses are up for an Oscar this year.

The show will air at 2pm ET / 11am ET on the BritBox streaming service for fans watching in North America.
