Lucy Liu is hard at work on her new project!

The 57-year-old Emmy-nominated actress walked through the streets of Chinatown as she filmed scenes for the new Peacock crime-drama series Superfakes on Monday (February 9) in New York City.

For her time on set, Lucy wore a blue fur jacket over a silver suit.

The series, which was first announced in September 2025, follows “a small-time Chinatown luxury counterfeit dealer who enters a dangerous black-market underworld in order to fund a life of suburban respectability for her family,” according to Deadline.

Along with starring in the series, Lucy also serves as an executive producer. Alice Ju serves as the creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer.

Lucy has also joined the cast of The Devil Wears Prada 2, which hits theaters on May 1. Watch the trailer here!

While plot details are being kept largely under wraps, we get to see a reunion between Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) and her two former assistants Andy (Anne Hathaway) and Emily (Emily Blunt). Stanley Tucci‘s Nigel also returns.

A running gag throughout the trailer is that Miranda does not recall working with Andy, and then does not recall Andy working with Emily.

“Where was I,” she dryly asks when they all get reacquainted.

Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak and Conrad Ricamora also star.

The film is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.

Lucy Liu is a guest for the latest episode of Drew Barrymore‘s talk show and they dressed up in matching outfits!

The former Charlie’s Angels co-stars reunited for an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, airing on Friday (December 5).

Lucy is on the show to promote her new indie movie Rosemead, which is getting a lot of awards buzz.

During the appearance, the ladies teased that they’ll be hanging out with fellow “Angel” Cameron Diaz this weekend. She’s in New Jersey filming a movie at the moment!

Drew said, “OK, I know I’m gonna see you this weekend and we’re gonna talk more about [your movie Rosemead] with Cameron. She’s off in New Jersey filming her movie. She’s having such a good time doing it too, by the way.”

Lucy added, “Maybe Demi [Moore] too. I can’t wait to hear about what’s going on with, with this movie with Cammy.”

“She loves it. She’s like in clothes she likes, she’s happy. You know how uncomfortable wardrobe can be,” Drew said, to which Lucy replied, “That’s why we’re matching guys.”
