The 2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards took place on Sunday afternoon (February 15) in Los Angeles.

The annual awards show, which celebrates the best in independent filmmaking, with budgets less than $30 million, and several television categories as well.

This year’s awards ceremony took place at the Hollywood Palladium, and saw tons of celebrities in attendance.

Netflix led the nominations with 18 total, and Adolescence swept the TV categories, plus A24 came in second with 10 nominations total!

The 2026 Independent Spirit Awards are happening now!

The awards show celebrates films budgeted at less than $30 million to produce and must be considered “independent,” as well as television categories.

The show is taking place live the Hollywood Palladium on Sunday (February 15) in Los Angeles.

This year, Netflix has by far the most nominations with 18 total. A24 is next, with 10 nominations total. There are familiar names on the list as well, with actors from The Pitt, Alien: Earth, and more being recognized.

Anne Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman are enjoying a date night at the Ralph Lauren fashion show!

The Oscar-winning actress sat front row with her husband at the New York Fashion Week event on Tuesday (February 10) in New York City.

The couple sat next to married actors Rebecca Hall and Morgan Spector.

More stars in attendance at the fashion show included Ariana Debose, Lili Reinhart, Emilia Jones, Diana Silvers, Lana Del Rey with husband Jeremy Dufrene, Joan Smalls, Kate Love, Phoebe Gates, Aimee Song, Kelsey Merritt, Delaney Rowe, and Sydney Lynn Carlson.

Anne took to her Instagram account that day to celebrate her 2017 movie Colossal and how it’s now out on Netflix. She joked about how no one saw it back then, so she’s hoping they watch now.

“When it arrived in theatres in 2017, it shattered box office records and became the shining hope of all low-budget indies that if you stick to your guns, you can make it big and transcend it all… Jk, no one saw it 😂,” Anne said. “BUT it just landed on Netflix!! So if you have the inclination, maybe 2026 is finally Colossal’s year. It’s funny and strange and silly/smart and great (just my opinion… and 82% of critics on RT so…) Hope you give it a go! Stay weird! 😈 🫶.”

The first three episodes of FX’s The Beauty are now streaming on Hulu and there was a major shocker in the second episode!

Ryan Murphy‘s latest series centers around a sexually-transmitted disease that makes its carriers beautiful before suffering gruesome deaths — sending the world of high fashion into crisis mode.

Evan Peters and Rebecca Hall star as FBI agents who are investigating all the deaths and searching for a connection. Also starring in the series are Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, and Ashton Kutcher, alongside a roster of incredible guest stars.

In the second episode, one of the lead actors had a shocking exit and was replaced by another star.

The cast of Ryan Murphy‘s new FX show The Beauty is promoting the show abroad in Rome!

Ashton Kutcher, Evan Peters, Rebecca Hall, Jeremy Pope, Anthony Ramos, and more stars traveled to Rome, specifically near the Trevi Fountain, on Monday (January 19) for a special promotional event, followed by the premiere at Terme Di Diocleziano on Tuesday (January 20). They also attended a photo call at Hotel De La Ville.

The stars of Ryan Murphy‘s new series are hitting the black carpet!

Evan Peters joined co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Anthony Ramos at the UK premiere of The Beauty on Friday (January 16) held at Odeon Luxe West End in London, England.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Rebecca Hall, Jeremy Pope, and Jessica Alexander.

The Beauty centers around a sexually-transmitted disease that makes its carriers beautiful before suffering gruesome deaths — sending the world of high fashion into crisis mode.

There are a ton of guests stars on the show including Bella Hadid, Isabella Rossellini, Amelia Gray Hamlin, Ari Graynor, Ben Platt, Jessica Alexander, Jon Jon Briones, Julie Halston, Lux Pascal, and Rob Yang.

Earlier this week, the stars were in New York City for the world premiere of the show.

The first three episodes of The Beauty are premiering on FX at 9 p.m. ET on January 21, and on Hulu at the same time and Disney+ internationally. Then, there will be two episodes premiering at the same time for the final two weeks.
