Is 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' Changing Names? All About That 'Nine Kingdoms' Title Card

Season one of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms wrapped up on Sunday night (February 22) on HBO, and season two is on the way.

In one cheeky moment towards the end of the episode, Egg corrected Dunk when Dunk said there were 7 kingdoms. Egg actually said there were 9, and then named them. Dunk looked shocked.

A title card then appeared on the screen with the name, “A Knight of the Nine Kingdoms.”

Co-creator and showrunner Ira Parker explained that moment.

'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' Season 1 Finale Stills Tease a Fully Healed Dunk: See the 12 Images

HBO Max has released several stills from the upcoming season 1, episode 6 airing, which is the season finale of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, set to air on Sunday (February 22).

The stills give some clues about what is to come.

Featured in photos are Dunk (Peter Claffey) and Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell), as well as characters including Raymun Fossoway (Shaun Thomas), Ser Lyonel Baratheon (Daniel Ings), Prince Maekar Targaryen (Sam Spruell), Prince Daeron Targaryen (Henry Ashton), and Valarr Targaryen (Oscar Morgan). There is notably no sign of Prince Aerion Targaryen in the stills after the major battle from episode 5.

The stills show a very injured Dunk after the Trial of Seven, but also show him with no injuries at all. This could seemingly suggest either a flash back or a flash forward.

'Heated Rivalry' Season 2 Cast: Who's Returning & Who Likely Won't Be Back Based on What Happens in 'The Long Game' Book

The countdown to season two of Heated Rivalry is on!

The hit gay hockey series – based on the book of the same name by Rachel Reid – created, written, and directed by Jacob Tierney premiered on Crave and HBO Max in November 2025.

Weeks after the show premiered, stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams officially announced that Heated Rivalry had been renewed for a second season and that they would be returning as Ilya Rosanov and Shane Hollander, respectively.

It was also revealed that season two will focus on the sixth book in the series, The Long Game, which also focuses on Ilya and Shane’s story.

It was an epic Trial of Seven in the latest episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

On Sunday (February 15), the HBO Max show depicted the massive battle between Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey) and Prince Aerion Targaryen (Finn Bennett).

Those fighting with Ser Duncan the Tall included: Ser Lyonel “Laughing Storm” Baratheon (Daniel Ings), new knight Raymun Fossoway (Shaun Thomas), Ser Humfrey Beesbury (Danny Collins), Ser Humfrey Hardyng (Ross Anderson), and in a surprise twist, Prince Baelor “Breakspear” Targaryen (Bertie Carvel).

Those fighting with Prince Aerion Targaryen include: his brother, Daeron (Henry Ashton), dad Maekar (Sam Spruell), Ser Steffon Fossoway (Edward Ashley), and Kingsguardmen, Ser Donnel of Duskendale (Bill Ward), Ser Roland Crakehall (Wade Briggs), and Ser Willem Wylde.
