an important update – please read!!
last week Echelon_Argentina told me the amount of members signed up here with 0 posts scared her. i mentioned that to Priscilla and she told me if i got the time that i should start deleting those members, that they were not welcome here.
i started deleting those 0 post people on monday and i have already deleted close to 2000 members.
i have noticed that some people do 1-3 posts, just so they will not get deleted. we do want quality with the posts not quantity but if i feel someone is not participating, i think i am going to delete those members also. i think if someone takes the time to sign up they should also take the time to contribute occasionally.
i think everyone here is really nice and also helpful. if you are new here and you need assistance with something you can always send the moderators myself a u2u, we will help you out that is what we are here for. so c’mon if you are one of these people, just post. we want you here and we also need you here to keep the forum going.
as a side note: i am deleting these people not banning them, they will be able to re register if they find they have been deleted. i would hope they take it as a lesson and start to post if they take the time to register again.
with that being said Priscilla and i have decided that the forum will be closing for new registrations for a little while, i am not sure how long that is going to be.
i need the time to get the rest of the members deleted and some of you have probably noticed that recently there has been an increase of new members who have nothing nice to say. it does not look good when you’ve just signed up and your first, your second, even your third post is a little eyebrow raising.
one of the girls who always sends me u2u’s to let me know about these members made a really good point – that this is a fansite. if someone who has just signed up goes on to post negative things about jared obviously it is going to upset everyone here, i am pretty sure most of you have seen it just leads to arguing and i end up removing posts.
we don’t want any trouble here you might not realize but some of the girls here get upset. someone mentioned that there should be no crying to the moderators, i disagree with that completely i would rather know if someone is upset over something so i can try my best to resolve any problems, we do not have that many problems here, i think in part because myself and the moderators try their best to keep the peace.
i think everyone is really good with reporting things, you should keep up with that. it is appreciated we can not be everywhere at once.
finally, Priscilla told me i should introduce myself, i am sure you are aware i was once a moderator, i am an administrator now. Priscilla is obviously still the highest authority here, i am in charge when she does not have time to visit the forum.
before sending her a u2u you should also keep in mind that this is a hobby for her i think she has a lot of things to worry about when she in online, she has a website to update, emails to answer, ect ect. if you need something you can send me that u2u instead of her, lets try to lessen her load a bit.
also i want to let those of you who have not noticed know Echelon_Argentina is now a moderator. which was my decision she helps me out so much it only seemed logical when i realized that we needed another moderator that she should get the title.
