JARED LETO WANTS BLOGGING TO DIE

theinquirer.net THEATRE AND MUSIC folk are starting to get a bit miffed at the trend toward gossip blogging.
In an interview with G4, Jared Leto, star of Fight Club, said that he wanted blogging to die, suddenly. Since this was not the sort of statement that a bogging outfit like G4 expected in an interview they asked him why. Jared said the whole idea was ridiculous and just a playground for four-year-olds. People say and do things in the world of bogs that they would never do in real life, and its all false… like, eating too much candy.

So, a bit like Hollywood then? And are we to suppose that Jared doesn’t read them? Er no, he reads a lot of them. It is just that he doesn’t think they should be cited as news sources, because most of them don’t do any research or back up their opinions. Jared remembered the days when a writer needed to have experience and talent, and learn a craft. Now anyone can write a bit of fluff online and get some attention. Of course in Jared’s golden years, stars used to moan about the tabloid press. ‘Fergie’ of the popular beat combo ‘Back eyed Peas’ in her new single, “Pedestal” describes the bloggers as talking out of their arse. “You hide behind the computer screens so that you don’t have to be seen. How could a person be so mean?”
